Geez, you people are ill. This is a gorgeous, talented woman. She had her "foot in the door" long before her marriage to Rushdie. Padma is very intellectual and her marriage was based on brains. We saw her (did not know who she was). But it was unbelievable to see her posing for 30 seconds for the photos in freezing weather.

She was not the least bit cold and showed no discomfort. All she had was a shawl
