Spears, British accent and all, was heard saying she was "scared" as paps closed in around her. In a classic Brit move, she christened her new ride with its first paparazzi passenger -- by inviting one to help her navigate 'ome.

One doesn't have to be a rocket scientists to observe that negative press of Britney sells. Take a photo, attach a fabricated /distorted story of her acting and looking nuts and bingo........the paparrazi and gossip mills hit the $$$$$ jack pot.
Read the CNN article with an objective mind, and it becomes plainly obvious that the paparrazi and rumor mills are profiting big time from staulking Britney 24/7. And, then publishing very negative and ridiculous stories about her.
It is sad and pathetic that people are allowing themlseves to become obssessed with these stories and photos, for it is simply perpetuating the needless 24/7 staulking. And, the pap is laughing all the way to the bank with it!!!

79. this actually makes me want to cry. say what you want about her - but this is somebody who had....has real talent - and she is broken, broken, *broken*. This girl is going to die. We are going to be watching / reading . hearing about her for months and months and months - probably years after she is gone. Her death will be very sad. She is a mother - a daughter - a superstar, whether you like her craft or not - and now she might as well be teetering off the ledge of a 20 story building ready to jump and all we can do is watch. And wait.
Maybe its not her with the mential problems, but us.

They ( the photogs & gossip mags) all state they care about Britney. But, in the same breath laugh, and make fun of her. They don't want Brit to get help or have a moments rest. They simply want to harrass and staulk to the point they kill her!

85. I hope she gets help. I really think that until she gets help she needs to stay home. I think she is putting herself in danger running the streets all night. She is at the drug store alot and if she is seeing a shrink, maybe she is getting meds, some of which you should not drive on. And those paps are probably all criminals. I wish the cops would run all of them for warrants and green cards. I also think there should be a law passed that you have to stay 15 feet away from people when you take their pic. I'd be scared too with all those guys hounding me 24/7. You guys have to realize that her and Lindsay too are just young girls.

90. With all the talk of Ms. Spear’s mental illness, I'm wondering.... What kind of mental illness would cause someone to follow another person’s every move and hound them at every opportunity? Are these people excessive / compulsive or what??? Talk about sick!!! The paparazzi know that this young lady has some very difficult issues that she has to deal with, yet they choose to be part of the problem. Think of the anxiety from being hunted each and every day of your life!!! Truly, laws should be passed to protect high profile personalities from being stalked by the press ( or poor examples thereof ). I’ve got a suggestion, why don’t some of her self-professed friends ( read users ) get on the ball, start taking some names and numbers, and check into filing some type of orders of protection against these people??? A judge should offer her some legal protection… then, hit these photo-poachers where it hurts, first their pocketbooks and then their freedom. Lock ‘em up!!! This girl is really gonna go over the top sooner or later if people don’t start showing her a little compassion. This is a sick, sick world and people’s self-serving attitudes towards others can be very damaging. BACK OFF PEOPLE!!! And Britney… drop out… find yourself and island or something.
