Evi Quaid -- You Need Restraining, Not Me!

Actor's Equity may have filed restraining orders against Randy Quaid's wife Evi, but she says they're the ones who need restraining. She claims they broke her finger!

In her declaration, filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Quaid claims when she went to the Actor's Equity office she was "physically restrained from behind by a security guard" who "placed handcuffs on one of my wrists." She also says a male Actor's Equity employee yanked a video camera out of her hand and broke her finger.

In the documents she says, "If anyone needs restraining, it is Actor's Equity."

Evi Quaid says the dispute stems from sexual harassment allegations made against her by an advertising agency that marketed a play starring her husband.

Actor's Equity had no comment.

17. Is it just me or does this seem like she is trying to promote her husbands play? In here declaration it says "This dispute also arises out of Randy's performance in the play, which Variety called "undeniably fun to watch'" and a silent film I created for the play which Variety said was "expertly excecuted"'

I think its a publicty thing. Before this I never even knew Randy Quaid was married.

Anyone look her up on the internet? She has a long history of doing inappropriate, mean-spirited things click on the link above. (Since High School per her online biographies.) What exactly was she doing at the Equity office anyway? I'm a member, and they just seem like a bunch of mild-mannered folks to me. Always very nice when I go in there.

Was all this really necessary? Or could Mr. Quaid and his attorneys handled it without her help?

To me, she seems like a type of person who has an "outlaw" personality, she thinks the rules don't apply to her, and if she is pushy and mean enough, people will just cave to her demands.

Problem is, that these days, all types of nutty behavior on site at a business has to be taken very seriously. Were it my office, I would have called security. Were it my employees, I would have filed a restraining order. Were it my elderly uncle that was assaulted, I would encourage him to get a restraining order.

You would think that someone with a famous husband would know to conduct themselves more professionally in business environment, if only for the sheer fact that their actions directly impact the reputation of their famous spouse.

Evi Quaid seems not to obey the common laws of decency in society, that people have a right to go to their jobs and not have seeming nut-jobs vaulting over the reception desks and kick boxing the help.

Frankly, had it been my office, I would have called LAPD and had her arrested on the spot for assaulting the elderly gentleman. Maybe then, when Mr. Quaid would have to post her bail, and she had her very own mug shots and such, it would be a "wake up" call to Mr. Quaid that his wife is disorderly, that she conducts herself on his behalf in public in a disorderly fashion, that she is creating disorder in their lifes with her disorderdly behavior, that she obviously has a disorder, and needs help.

It is a crying shame that he has to be embarrassed on TMZ by his wife's mean-spirited behavior at a professional Union office. In civilized society, such things just aren't done, and if Evi's sainted mother didn't teach her such things, then I guess it's the court's job to give her the boundaries she lacks naturally, so that she can at least imitate having an upbringing that she is so clearly lacking.

To quote the immortal Dan Ackroyd: Evi, "You ignorant slut."

For someone seemingly so smart, she really does stupid things.

24. Bravo Middlemouse, very well said.
this behavior is deplorable, and then to say that The other party needs a restraining order, because why? they defended themselves against her onslaught at their offices? She is a ridiculous, uneducated fool that needs help with her anger management. What an embarassment for the Quaid family.
