48. I like that she is smoking in public. Many people smoke. It is not a big deal. It is choice one makes. I hate all you self-righteous idiots! So many things are horrible for you in life. 49. NEWS FLASH! Everything gives you cancer. Diet soda, sugar substitutes, processed foods, microwaves, cell phones and the air that we breathe! You people preaching about smoking probably downed a McGriddle for breakfast, a Triple Bacon Cheeseburger w/ Fries and a Shake for lunch. How many of you even workout?

I'm down to one cigarette a day and I'm on my way to quitting. I ran my first marathon this past summer and I'd like to run more, which means quitting for good. I smoke American Spirits, just like Katherine, they are chemical and additive free, not healthy by any means, but you aren't getting all of the added ingredients that manufacturers add to get you hooked. I'm sure she's aware of the health consequences - just like the people pulling up to the drive-thru window every day- and, in time, she'll quit. On this evening, it seemed like she was hanging with friends, probably drinking, which makes you want to smoke more.

And, oh, you don't have to be a good actress these days. She's beautiful, down to earth and very real. People can easily relate to her and the characters she plays. That's why she's become a star. Her beauty is natural - not manufactured and she genuinely seems like a girl that can hang out with anyone. She'll have a very long career. She's fine.

50. Chances are by the time the smoking has any negative impact on her looks, Hollywood will be done with her anyways. As for smelling bad, in LA you can't tell the difference anyways. Hollywood smells like urine at night and like crap during the day. If anything the smell of secondary smoke is a nice change from the pollution all of the soccer moms spew out all over California.

As for role models.. pfft..

Kids always have rock stars or wild actors as role models, nothing new here.

They can't all be squeaky clean like Hannah Montana..

You anti smokers really need to go pick on some fat people. That's actually the biggest drain on our health system. I mean ok, they may not smell bad but they look gawd awful. So if you wanna do some good.. go steal their sporks.

54. Her "over the top" acting in this video is deliberate, and very staged. When I see these videos, she always looks so self-conscious and unnatural. She's enjoying her fame and cigarettes now but, just like her looks and career, her health will fade.
