3. Stuudard has an awesome voice. But, unfortunelty in Hollywood it is shallow and supercial. If he were an anorexic pencil stick size the promoters would be tripping over him to sign him up and produce a CD.

7. Ruben haa a great voice. A soulful voiice. He is not what America expects as a superstar. It is shame that people do not or refuse not to see beyond the outside of a person. People --- do you see how shallow people really are? A larger person with a great voice vs. someone thinner with a not so good voice -- we all know who wins out in the long run. I feel Ruben has a much better voice than alot of those guys now on American Idol.

9. If this guy spent half his time working as he does bringing lawsuits, he would be doing just fine! I can think of 4 or 5 times he has sued someone....beginning right after he won AI when he sued the man who was making him those "225" or whatever area code shirts he wore! What a mindset.

11. Unfortunately society is still into the image thing. Rueben does not have the image that America wants. After Levert and Luther I doubt if you will se too many large male singers. In addition his age group is not into his music. He is an idol winner 16-30 year olds. They don't know how to appreciate his songs. His song "Beautiful" is great but you have to listen to the lyrics and most people don't. Shame because the songs that I have heard him sing all have good messages behind them.

14. Honestly, the reason why he sank is because there is less mainstream appeal for a gospel singer, which sadly, is what he insisted upon doing after winning AI.

15. I feel bad for ruben because he really is a sweet guy and has a great voice. But look at the other idols dropped like katharine mcphee she did way worse but because of her dads connection and her willingness to pose for anything she gets by on her looks with a bad additude but a nice guy like ruben because of his size is overlooked by the industry. Hopefully eventually someone will wake up and sign him again and Katharine mcphee will disappear into the crowd...
