Britney Shrink Calls Cops

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Britney's psychiatrist got in touch with the North Hollywood division of the LAPD and set tonight's events in motion.
As we first reported (see below), the shrink told cops that she was alarmed at her driving and her "downhill behavior." We're told the Captain at the North Hollywood division told officers, "Something must be done."

The EMS just arrived and we expect Britney will be taken to the UCLA Medical Center.

21. Why can't everyone just leave this poor girl alone. It's just so obvious that she was thrust into public life at such a young age and was never really taught how to deal with it properly. You camera and news freaks please give her some space and let her get well. Then and only then will she be able to return to being a wonderful mother and a great entertainer!!! LET HER BE!!!!

22. It's about time they took that "looney tunes" away. Lock her up for about 10 yrs and throw away the key. She is completly "whacko" Keeping her in the hospital for "72" hours, what the hell is that going to do? Absolutely "NOTHING" she will get out and be back to her wild and wacky ways. She needs to be commited to someplace for a "LOT" longer then 72 hrs. for anything to do her any good otherwise why even bother taking her in for 72 hrs. She is a complete nut case and should be taken off the streets for a long time, course look at her family, 16 yr old sister is pregnant, her parents have not done a good job with either of them.
