At least ten motorcycle cops, two regular squad cars and handful of autos packed with family and friends made up the fleet of vehicles accompanying Britney's ambulance to UCLA.

26. This is just frustrating.
Tax payers are paying for THIS. THEN when an actual emergency does happen, guess what.
YOU are going to have to wait because the police are busy caring for one celebrity.
How about you make a call that there was a traffic accident, someone was raped, some was assaulted, someone was mugged, someone is trying to break into your house yet most the police are escoting Britney Spears to the hospital.
I guess the average person will have to wait a little bit longer for the police because they are too busy sending dozens of officers to escort one person.
WHO is paying for all of these men and women to baby sit this one person. All of the tax payers. Isn't it nice where your money goes. Not into your schools, not to your roads but for the police to sit around and wait to escort one person.

28. Tell me that Britney is going to be getting a bill from the LAPD for its motorcade and helicopter escort services!!! That was total OVERKILL. She is not the President nor a public servant whose vital interests are ours. Were they concerned someone would make an assassination attempt?!? Taxpayers should demand reimbursement -- would any of us been given the same escort services??

30. Is it possible for a citizen of LA to bring a lawsuit against Spears, the police and others who are involved in this tremendous waste of taxpayer money? They all have a fiduciary responsibility to those who pay taxes, so why doesn't someone call for an exact accounting of police time and equipment used, as well as emergency medical services and their expenses for the past six months? Or, if not a citizen, a good investigative reporter. I bet the costs of catering to this circus could fill schools with more teachers, provide computers for students, pave lots of new roads, and build shelters for those who need them. I sure hope the taxpayers don't end up paying her hospital bills, too! She apparently hasn't set aside monies for her boys education or future needs, so why assume she has health insurance?
