Parents to Sam: She's Ours Now

TMZ has learned Britney's parents have won round one in the tug of war with Sam Lutfi. We're told the doctors at UCLA are now "fully cooperating" with the parents in the treatment of Britney Spears, however, the war probably is not over until a judge signs an order as to who has control.

By the way, the men in white coats are giving props to LAPD's "SMART Unit" which specializes in mental health cases for coordinating the events that went down last night and early this morning.

UPDATE: Sam Lutfi left the hospital before 4:00 AM. Papa Jamie just left.

61. I just hope that WHOEVER ends up with the "control" is ultimately concerned with Britney's mental and physical well being, and not her financial well being. It's so hard when you are worth that much money to know who is really concerned about you, and who is concerned about the money. Makes me glad I am just a normal, every day, hard working, regular person. Hope you get better Britney. I truly hope and pray that you get back on the right path.

66. I'll admit that I'm nosey and I like to see what the celebs are doing, but I think it's time for TMZ to give Britney & her family some much needed space and privacy. The paparazzi circus just aggravates the situation. I know I'd gain a new-found respect for TMZ if it happened and I bet it would be a good PR move, too. Moreover, it's just the same s**t on a different day; we wouldn't be missing much.

67. Why, oh why, is there so much interest in this train wreck of a girl. It's obvious that she does not want help; it's been offered numerous times and been refused. I for one am sick and tired of all the media coverage.

She needs to grow up and be a decent person; which includes being a decent mother to her beautiful sons. How would you like to go to middle school and say, "I saw your mommy flashing her business on TV last night". How humiliating for a child!

The media needs to find someone who wants help; but can't afford it due to our mixed up health care in this country and do some stories that will actually do some good! The majority of people don't want to hear about entertainers who put their pants on (or in Brittany's case doesn't put her pants on) the same way we all do!

Give me a break; there is something wrong with her but she should have been committed a long time ago. they would have found a way, I think the has been pop star can no longer make a good record as shown in her last comedic performance, that now she wants attention faking crazy is her last ditch effort. she needs to grow up, deal with life's issues and get a job.

69. As i was looking at video from last nights kaos at Brits home, I wonder how does all of Brit's neighbors feel about this. Having all of this media and papparazi cameras all around night in and night out, and having the police and EMT's there twice in a short time span causing all this comotion during the middle of the night....If I was a home owner there, i would do everything I can to get Brit kicked out of the community. Am I right?
