Brit's Conservators Can Shut Down Sam

The conservators who were appointed to manage Britney's assets have broad authority, including changing the locks to her house and keeping out anyone they want -- we're guessin' that's Sam Lutfi.

The judge granted the conservators -- Jamie Spears and a lawyer co-conservators -- have the power to hire 24-hour security at her house, access her medical records and communicate with treating physicians.

They also have the power to make any decisions on her behalf, and can revoke any contracts she may have made recently -- which might include the new Mercedes she just bought.

Dignified proof that the people commenting on here, do not have a clue as to legal procedure as well as protection of the individual involved in the court proceedings. Thank you for your insight and the desire to protect those you love, such as Britney's father and the attorney are doing now.

51. Age and wisdom are measured by other means that chronology. For some time I have said that this "not a girl, not yet a woman" needs a person or person(s) in her life who love her unconditionally, and who truly have HER best interests at heart. Her chronological age, and the fact that she has been able to bear two children, do not mean she's able to to take care of herself. She has been ripe and ready for any smooth-talking syncophant ready to prey upon her. I truly hope her sons can be kept safe and healthy until she herself can become safe and healthy, And I hope the media and the readers, watchers, and listeners (that's us, you know) can give her the "time and space" (as Princess Diana referred to it) to let her attend to the serious problems bedeviling her.

Remember Judy Garland? Let's not repeat that tragedy with another talented young woman, who just can't "do it all." Let Britney Spears grow into her adulthood, so she can accept and enjoy her two sons. If she's ready to go back to performing--and by that I mean her true talent, singing and dancing, perhaps acting, but not her ability to attract papparazzi by getting out of limos sans underwear or shaving her head or speaking in a fake British accent--if she's ready to entertain with her true talent, I think her real fans will still be there. Until then, let's wish her luck and safety. . .I'm worried about this poor young soul's life and spirit.

53. Sheesh! Everyone sounds so flipping happy that her parents FINALLY stepped up! They are only about a YEAR OR TWO late though don't you think? Fame goes to everyone's head, but the parents responsibility is help their children in crisis, not sit idlely by and watch them self implode... Dont wait for a full fledged nervous break-down on national TV to say "Oh, maybe we should step in!" So basically, dont applaude their slow effort now...just pray that girl can get her head on strait and recover for her two babies.

54. OMG--First off, when I made a comparison between Britney Spears and Judy Garland, I wasn't even thinking in terms of any Luft farmily relationship--whether there is or not, I have no idea. And I would never refer to anyone as "trailer trash"--I'm not sure I even know what the definition of that is. I would only add I'd be willing to bet that the garbage taken to the incernerator or comost heap by people who live in mobile homes isn't that different than the garbage tossed out by the butlers and other "help" of those who live in some of the plushest highrise townhomes. Talk about "Let them eat cake!" Whew!
