Theft at Britney's House?

Britney Spears Law enforcement sources tell TMZ a crime report has been filed with the LAPD, alleging someone pilfered "valuable possessions" from Britney Spears' house after she was hospitalized at UCLA.

We're told the conservators filed the report, claiming the alleged theft occurred sometime between the time Britney was admitted to UCLA psych ward and the time the conservatorship papers were signed.

Sam Lutfi has not been named as a suspect, however, he had access to the house, and we know Brit's father, Jamie Spears, a co-conservator, strongly believes Sam has been up to no good.

Lutfi had no immediate comment.

UsMagazine.com first broke the story that possessions were allegedly missing.

61. Apparently, it looks like she will remain in the hospital for another 14 days, which is good. If items were taken that were recently purchased, she may not even remember what they were to file a police report and insurance papers when she does get home.

we'll see who has the most common sense at the end of the day! Hey, Lutfi, don't think for a moment you're smarter than Britney Spears' two Court-appointed co-Convervators who are going to help save her life (on behalf of her young sons). Maybe her father did inherit an alcoholic gene (a lot of people do) but there's no one wiser than a "sober and intelligent" man with common sense who has made his own way in life! Hats off to Mr. Spears....

69. The conservators filed the theft report? How in blazes would the conservators even know what was in Brit's house? Even Brit's alcoholic father, the co-conservator conspirator, has not been in that house since Britney was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai last month, and while she was at Cedars-Sinai it was reported that the two of them had not seen each other in at least eight months prior to that. The only other time Brit's father might have had an opportunity to snoop around Britney's house prior to her being hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai is when Britney was at Promises rehab last February. So how can the conservators know what was in Brit's house? This reeks of a conspirator, that is to say, specifically, Brit's alcoholic father, trying to set Sam up with a phoney theft case.

72. Regarding the items stolen. Maybe her six cell phones, music electronics and items that were out and about that they could tell it had been lifted. And of course any items that would incriminate Sam.

First: James Spears is a RECOVERING alcoholic. He has remained sober for several years.

Second: They are auditing all the credit card charges to see what SHOULD be there.
