84. I am a full figured Lady. Attractive,long hair past mi big booty, and NO....I do not smell bad lunatk1. (unless you don't like the smell of Dolce & Gabana)
I enjoy reggae and am welcomed backstage at Steel Pulse venues as well as others.

I enjoyed some of his music but after that un necessary comment you'd better believe you WON'T find me PAYING for a ticket to one of his concerts or PURCHASING his CD..

The point is...
Did you really feel the NEED to say that WYCLEF??

Most of the USA is having a weight problem right now compared to the other countries (I'm being REAL).

You really think that was a smart move for your career to say that??
Think about it.
How many people (male and female) don't have a weight problem compared to the ones that do?
Think they'll shell out the bucks for your concert or CD after that remark??
You won't see the effects now......but you will in a few months to come.

The BBW/BHM (Big Beautiful Women and Men) community is a big one (yes..I can laugh at myself) and we are close.

85. I find it hilarious all the folks who are saying 200lbs is "morbidly obese" or "pretty fat". A lot of people swear by the BMI chart, a chart that seems morbidly outdated in times when most of the food we eat are shot full of hormones and who know what else that has the kids growing up so fast. Humans in general have evolved..... that's why you have babies walking around with the bodies of grown women.... 25yr olds lookin at 13 yr olds. At 5'4" and 200 lbs, I am a size 14....... morbidly obese? i think not....and a lot of folks agree with me, incl my doctor. I have no health issues and no reason to change. I eat sensibly and I am very active physically. Many thinner women are probably getting a little peeved at being so proud to look like the chic on the cover of a magazine only to have people view that as 'fake' now..... For those women with REAL lives, REAL incomes, REAL families, and REAL self-images, I applaud you for being you....whether thick or thin..... as long as you are who you are for YOURSELF and not what some other fools think you should be. However ignorant Wyclef's comment was, there a way to say and do things. He's entitled to his preferences (if that's the case). But he could have easily just grabbed the hands of the women he preferred on stage..... coulda saved him a lot of grief and possibly money. I am no longer a supporter because of his ignorance, not his preferences.

86. I think the media is making it worse than how he meant it. That being said, I am a plus size woman that is currently 170 lbs but used to be 220 lbs. I have faced many people -- both male and female that find overweight people to be repulsive. However, I don't think Wyclef is one of them. I think he could have had a lot more couth and tact about it (let's face it people, the stage could only hold so much) and asked for less girls to get on stage. I think he was trying to be funny, but wasn't. It was in poor taste, but I don't think he meant it the way the media is making it out to be. I also am a fan of all the work he has done in Haiti. For that -- plus the fact that I do like his music, I will continue to support him.

When you were 220 I'll bet you would have been insulted (especially because you like his music)
but now that you're 170...he wasn't referring to you.

No matter what...it was a hellova stupid comment.
One that will most likely cost him $'s in the months to come.

88. well, I am really upset that wyclef would say something like this as a fan of his music talent ,I would think that he would have some real respect for real women! as a big woman my self I take offense to his comments and he must want to lose money from his concerts and music sales! He has to understand that all his fanz are not freaking bean poles! I have no hate for the skinny people in life, it's just that because you see one fat girl or many of them at one time does not mean that anyone no matter how famous or not does not give that prson the right to discriminate aganist people. I'm sure when he gets enough heat and losing money and many fans for this rude act he will be eating his own words. If i was not for those big girl fans of his he would not be where he is today. it is up to his fans that makes his career..... does anybody else agree??

89. first of all he has the right to have a preference. but he doesnt have the right to discriminate! thick is beautiful! and from what i here most real men like some cushion for the pushin! im a thick, cute woman and his ass better be glad im married, cuz if he gave me a chance he would be callin home n sayin " put ya momma on the phone" to his kids and then " honey i aint neva comin home" to his wife! lol i dont even know if he has a family, but i would make him think twice about going back to where ever home is! i still like his music though. oh well ..... his loss!!! =D
