Britney is not classed as incapacitated and therefore has the legal rights of any human being.
The conservators make decision for her on her behalf so as not to distract from treatment! She is being EVALUATED so until that evaluation is complete no-one can just take over and deal with HER life the way they see fit.

67. Upon the info that the press has released I feel that the Commish has made a dreadful mistake in extending the conservorship of "the Brit's " father in that I feel he is after more that what he says.

68. I really doubt she was incapacitated or unable to make rational decisions in the past when she publically said she wanted nothing to do with her father. Mention him to her and to this moment it will set her off. Good person or not his involvement in her affairs is a negative and that she does not need.

A bank, and a lawyer with experience as a conservator is enough, send her father home as soon as possible. She may also need a conservator for health decisions only, father and mother are ill equipped to decide about medication and treatment.

All youy people bleating about her mother and father being a team should consider that they are divorced, he is a ex drunk, and her mother has a track record of humiliating and pimping her children...some team.

69. PT -- Jamie would have called the police, and hired a business lawyer, had he thought that Britney business manager was up to good! It was probably Howard Gossman who contacted the IRS since the dispute is between Britney, Jive Records, and the IRS. It is not an audit focused on Britney alone, Jamie needs to get out of the mix, stop being a source of stress for his daughter, and start building an honest trusting relationship with his daughter, and when she gets out of the hospital he can help her to deal with her business issues. Right now his focus is on the wrong thing--MONEY. If Britney is dead, what does it matter who is auditing her. Jamie needs to remmber what this is all about, and it is Britney's health, not her bank account.

75. 29: Me - From the way you write, either you do not have a very good grasp of grammar or you do not speak English very well. So, I am going to assume that you do not speak English very well and are not from the USA.

First off, the Spears family, notably Jamie Spears, has been trying to do something to help his daughter since last summer. Obviously, none of this just started recently. Britney has been a mentally ill person for quite some time but that is not the fault of her family, however it has been exasperated by activities that gone on over a period of time beginning with her explosions of temper and the interference in her life by people like Osama and Adnan.

Just because Britney and her family have not gotten along that does not at all eliminate them as the logical and legal people who should take care of her now. And just “relieving the stress” will not help her mental state. She needs much more help then that.

But I will agree that some stress needs to be relieved. The people who do not need to be in her life need to be eliminated. Osama, Adnan and all of the other paparazzi that have been abusing her need to go. And hopefully, this is being done right now.
