TMZ has learned Britney's new lawyer, Adam Streisand, is related to Babs herself, and he's not afraid to name drop!
Adam is Barbra's second cousin, though he's said publicly said they don't speak and that she's a very private person.
But we're told in private, Adam's quite willing to talk about the lineage.
Adam has been brought in by Trope and Trope to challenge Brit's conservatorship -- in particular, the appointment of Brit's dad, Jamie.

54. Her dad and mom should be spending a lot of time in counseling, not taking on this role they have no experience in, pus if Jamie is an alcoholic it is just a conflict of interest. This all sounds like great news for progress and judging by the lack of press, Britney should be beginning to be a great space. Once all the dependents on Brit move away she will thrive. Go Brit, you are talented and a great adult woman. Someone on here can't stand T and T. What have they done to you?

56. I think Brit needs to be taken out of the public eye to begin with. She wasnt good in her early days and isnt good now. She needs to go home without all her money and go back to who she was before all the fame. I know im really getting tired of all the reports about her, she isnt that important.

57. Wow, her father is/was/looks like an alkie. He always seems drunk and I seem to recall reading a while back Britney HATES him very badly. Wonder if its because he was and still may be a raging alcoholic? She may be in the mental ward, but she can still know her dad might bleed her dry. Is that why she hates him?? I agree with the other poster who says he looks like a drinker. He just looks rough.

Luckily, he may actually be ok.
He would be a fool not take money from power house television agencies.
They asked him a few questions, in which he was very vague at responding.
I follow all things Britney and the interview was of no interest to me.
he comes from a good family, and now he has padded his pockets a bit.
At least he appears strong.
If Britney has no one to befriend while she recovers, she will easily be dead shortly.
