63. #54 Actually her father is the perfect person. He's a recovering addict and so is she! She is an addict and that has caused or in addition to mental illness. When she gets some sense, she's gonna realize that her current animosity towards her parents is misdirected. Addicts tend not to like their parents because their parents DON'T LIKE THEM DOING DRUGS, GETTING THEIR KIDS TAKEN AWAY, AND BASICALLY RUINING THEIR LIFE!

So the laywer that was appointed as her conservatorship is going to be paid (I assume -someone should ask) out of her money and the new laywer chalanging the conservatorship is getting paid out of her money (I assume) as well. Hmmmm sounds like if this carries on she will be declaring bankrupcy in a couple of years because all the laywers are chalanging each other and she is paying for it. Does she even know that? I know she hasn't had a real education in fiances but comon where is the judge. How can it be legal for laywers to arguee on your so called behalf when your not in the picture because of mental issues. Here's a tip if laywers don't get paid they stop. Maybe her conservatorship should expain that to the judge and bar them from spending her money like that. Let's face it if she goes broke she going to windup just like Dana Plato - DEAD. She can't do anything else the stigma of her life won't allow it. Even the comeback kids are out of the picture for many years before they make it - again. I don't think she has the personal fortitude to get herself thru that.

65. This is insane. Her business manager should NOT be a conservator of her assets. Every single person who has been up to now involved in Britney Spears' finances is potentially involved in the exploitation of a very sick young woman. The court should award joint conservatorship to Andrew Wallett and another well-respected attorney unconnected to Britney Spears and allow the two conservators great latitude and time necessary to determine the right outcome.

67. While this is hindsight, Brit should have had all the legal paperwork signed and done a long time ago. Given her state of mind, maybe she thought she'd never need it, but everyone should have a living will, trusts, power of attorney, etc signed and filed at the court house. YOU NEVER KNOW when you'll need it. Nothing stays the same, no matter how young, rich (or both ) you are.

68. It is about time that Brit's Parents are stepping in. I believe they should of been there from the start years ago and she may Not of landed where she is today.
Fame and fortune and Youth is is Not a good combination. Yes,,,, she does need Help Big Time.
She needs to stay in treatment for quite awhile and keep the damn press out of her private life. No lights No camera's and for god sakes No Action.Give us all a Break Brit Stay in Treatment.

Why can't they freeze all her assests and get a court appointed attorney? Someone no one has ever heard of, has their own money and dosen't need hers.

I can't see why people have decided to slanderBarbra Streisand herself just because her name has been dropped bysome vague relation that she has no reported contact with.
