51. "Just a Thought" #31-- You do have a good point. I do point out that I did write "would wish" but even something as horrible as Hulks own kids getting harmed wouldn't matter to him.

My older brother was killed by a 17-year-old drunk driver. My brother was in a coma for 2 months and suffered from serious brain damage for another year. Then he died due to the brain injuries.

The drunk kid was driving friends home from a party his parents threw for him and served plenty of booze.

I have no problem wishing ill on those who drink & drive and especially on the parents who take no interest or concern in their children's actions or activities.

"Just a Thought" I respect your stand. You have a very good point. It does good to know that someone in this world can still care about others.

As for myself, I am a bitter and petty person now. I just wish that people would experience the terrible things they do to others. It's justice. That's all that matters to me.

I wish you (as well as your friends & family) good health and prosperity. As for Hulk and his brood... You know my opinion.

54. Nor Cal Reader - You need to get some help. Seriously. You are obviously very angry - which is understandable but you can't go postal everytime you see a public figure who somehow reminds you of your awful experience and loss. You are only hurting yourself.

Bacchus is not the god of drunk driving and Hulk Hogan isn't Bacchus. Its just a parade.

Life is too short. Learn some forgiveness and to appreciate what is a tradtion in another part of the world doesn't effect you.

PS: I'm another Nor Cal native who now lives in the South...I'm not a dumb redneck. Mardi Gras is all about facing our vices head on. Maybe there's some meaning in that.

I understand the parade and I believe N.O. needs these kind of events to bring it back to it's former glory. However, I believe that Hulk Hogan really should have thought twice about his part and what it represents. But then again, Hogan isn't really known for making good decisions. (Older wrestling fans know what I mean... W.C.W. / N.W.O.)

60. I think underneath his " Tough - guy " image , he is a real sweetheart. I think his family treats him terrible & with dis-respect. Do they realize that if it wasn't for his success , they wouldn't live like they do. As for Nick ... a parent can only do so much. At his age - his parents can't monitor him 24 / 7. He is a strong man in many ways -- instead of laying down & dyng , he picked himself up & is now the highlight of Amercan Gladiators. HULK ROCKS !!!!
