I think that Britney's relationship with her family (her mother anyway) deteriorated to no communication after Lynn, Britney's attorney at the time and others staged an intervention and convinced her to get rid of k-whatever. Britney finally caved in and has really gone downshill quifkly since then. There may have been things leading up to her current serious problems, but I think that was the biggie. BUT, who know what goes on behind closed doors (regardless of the crap that tmz spews). I have to say that I am happy that they finally did something positive and in the right direction. If it is true that Britney's lawyers have a close relationship with Lufti, then they should be fired. Why do they want to stay on now anyway? Didn't they want to resign? $$$

108. I know that many kids have strained relationships with their parents. At some point, most kids, is probably more accurate. But even so, it seems like Jamie Spears has been reluctant to step into his daughters life in this fashion. She's 26, not 17. Btw, people on drugs do NOT want to deal with their parents. She didn't have to answer to them b/c she is financially independent, and had the ability to tell them to piss off. So, I don't think they had much of a choice in her previous decisions not to see them. If your 26 year old child wants to screw up their life, there is not much a parent can do. Well, until she is involuntarily committed and a conservator is to be named. But, regardless of people who think that her parents are just out to swindle all of her money away, I maybe naive, but I just don't think that is the case. This is their shot, probably their only shot, to help their daughter. I mean, her family has to help her whether she likes it or not. This whole thing is one giant intervention into all aspects of her life. Imagine if they did nothing, where would brit be?

109. I can understand why Trope and Trope had a relationship with Sam. He was a person who was around Britney and it seemed as if perhaps he could maybe/possibly/have a chance of getting her to talk to them or show up for a court date. They were trying to represent her and using whatever means was legally available to do them to do so.

I think Trope is doing the best it can for her in her divorce/custody case. There is no way any judge is going to give custody of two small children to a parent who is mentally ill and engaging in behavior that ranges from bizarre to dangerous. The idea that some other lawyer could have gotten her sole custody of her children is a fantasy. She is going to have to be relatively mentally healthy before she is going to have her children again.

If Jamie fires the Trope firm, it will cost a bloody fortune for a new firm to come up to speed on what has already happened.

115. ME#106~ I was commenting on the "new lawyer" Streisand. He had just been kicked out of the courtroom by the judge, and two seconds later he was talking the the papps. Kaplan speaks with the media in press conferences (I believe) and rarely makes any sort of comments to random papps.

117. It is stunning and inconceivable that the law firm, Trope and Trope are willing to ruin their reputation over this situation and their connection with Sam Lufti. They are not as intelligent as they would like to believe. I also see that Ron Rale is with this firm.... Look them up.

Investigate them - something is amiss here. They wanted no association a short while ago and suddenly new interest. Keep putting there name out there for the world to see what they are doing.
