britney's assets are depreciating. she's bought several homes with no equity in them. she has way too many debts and she has been spending $800K per month. Now add the IRS and that's more of her money gone. She is she is not going to have $40 million by the time everything is over. She will have a lot less.

REST EASY PEOPLE adam streisand has said she has 40m in ASSESTS, which is not her personal finances it what she owns like property. she coulod easily have millions in bank accounts. and the $15m audit is against JIVE records according to US Weekly who interviews adam streisand. So maybe they owe her royalties who knows. but she owns $40m in assests that was my point, that wuold be made up form her $10m home or whatever it costs and the value of her 15 businesses whatever they may be. Her bank accounts are private no one but her should know what is in them furthermore i can not see a lawyer broadcasting britneys bank accounts across a court room filled with reporters so he mentioned her assets not net worth.

Checking into then back out of $1500+ a night hotels,buying houses then not residing in them,no touring, a CD that tanked,high insurance rates in Cal on cars & two large houses;all that adds up quickly. If the 2 Cal. houses were factored into the estate total,knock another $10 mil off the bottom line.Unless this psych treatment is successful,she'll be bankrupt well within 2 years. Someones Net worth is their personal financial position on top of teh value of their assets. the lawyer only mentioned her assets not britneys personal finantial position which would be added to the value of her assets. She could have millions in bank acounts but these are not counted as her assets.

50. if there is a conservator he is going to know what's in all her accounts and her other assets like real estate. he is in charge of her estate. how could lufti or someone who is not appointed by the court think they should be conservators. they are leeches.

britney most likely owes jive records because her album did not do well at all. she made two videos and they both failed. they spent a lot of money recording her album. if the IRS is involved in an audit with Jive, the mere fact that it is mentioned in conjunction with britney says she is involved. if she hasn't been paying enough taxes there will be penalties.

britney has also been sued several times so she owes people money (louis vuitton, k-fed's lawyer)

she overpaid for her houses, spent so much money on hotels and other things, she also gave to charities and one of them kept stealing her money when she was mentally ill, more than people realize.

let her father and a lawyer the judge appointed take over her estate. britney and her enablers can't do it.

Um, are you guys smoking crack? OF COURSE her personal accounts are considered assets. Assets can be liquid as well as tangible. This is rich. So, if I am ever audited by the IRS and they ask me to summarize my assets, I will tell them: Well, my house is worth $xxx.xx, and my business $xxxx.xx, and my car $xxx.xxx, and then I'll just conveniently leave out the big $xxx.xx I have sitting down the street at Bank of America and the $xxx.xx at Charles Schwab. Soooo, several months later when I am arrested for tax fraud I can tell them, "Oh, you mean the personal money in my bank accounts isn't part of my assets? Really?. I'm sure they will understand and let me go. The only way there would be a difference between what YOU call Britney's assets and her personal accounts, would be if there was difference between what assets may fall under an organization that is Incorporated or personal assets. Assets are ANYTHING a person owns (including private bank accounts) that has monetary value.

Hey everyone, it takes a lot of money to maintain the type of life this woman lives... 3 or 4 houses that she is never in and paying for while living in hotels ,her child support ,Cal and Louisiana taxes not to mention clothes ,clubs, drinks,food,cars,drugs, gas to drive aimlessly around L.A. and the list goes on and unless all her old cds' or whatever are selling like hot cakes how is she making money.

57. some basic budgettng & she should be set for many lives,
1) her $$$ should be put away safely & she should be living off the intrest
2) she should pay cash for her real estate
3) she needs to re-organise her life style
4) she has enough cash to live lavishly for the rest of her life

but she better get a grip & I think Mom & Dad have her best interst , & if I had that cash I would take care Of my loved ones/parents/family
