Troubled pop princess Britney Spears has revealed herself to the public once again this week - with her financial secrets laid bare for the whole world to see.

As a result we can now say for certain that the 25-year-old spends more on clothes and food than childcare and is almost certainly on the wrong mobile phone tariff.

The singer spends an eye-watering $16,000 (£7,700) a month on clothes and has a combined grocery and restaurant bill of $6,358 (£3,100). However, according to papers published as part of her divorce hearing with Kevin Federline, she spends just $6,000 (£2,900) a month on childcare.

Britney also seems to spend an awful lot on staying connected - with a combined mobile, landline and internet bill of $2,500 (£1,200) a month. While her utility bill of $10,250 (£5,000) and mortgage bill of $49,267 (£27,000) look like they could be trimmed with the right packages.

And that would leave the songstrell more cash to spend on her favoured pastime - or at least the thing she spends the most on - going out.

The Toxic singer spends $102,000 (£49,000) on "entertainment, gifts and vacations". Every month.

But it's not all frivolous - she gives $500 (£240) a month to charity and spends $9,200 (£4,400) on health care on top of the $77,197 (£37,000) she spends on health insurance for her and her children and almost $50,000 (£27,000) on mortgage payments.

Car insurance, repairs, petrol and busses come in at $17,000 (£8,000) a month - enough for a London bus ticket a day, every day, since she was 14.

But then she can afford to spend big - even before her new album and single were released Britney was averaging $719,634 (£350,000) a month in royalty payments.

Actually, I'd be watching her business manager and looking into what he has done in the past....

I'm not saying the guy is dirty, but it wouldn't hurt to look at him and see what he was up to. Britney does not have the background or education to do it herself and there is no one to oversee her assets except for her business manager.

I just think he should be looked at by someone, whether it be investment counselors, accountants, or someone else who is competent to check him out. That means someone who has no personal stake in it, either. That means family members or any of her "entourage".

Don't you realize that everyone here ALREADY KNOWS perfectly damn well what kind of expenses Britney Spears has and that these expenses are eating away at her fortune? The point that we were all making (which you would have seen if you had actually bothered to THINK about it before you got nasty and arrogant) is that a few months is still a very short period of time to lose TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars, even with the expenses Britney has!

So the next time you want to call people idiots, make sure you're not acting like one yourself. You're no better than anybody else and you didn't tell anyone anything we didn't ALREADY KNOW, so you can quit putting everyone else down and acting like you're superior.
