She is not competent...because she is acutely ILL. She has no insight right now. ACUTELY ILL.....

Stabilization takes time. Competency is restored in time... .... with therapy and medication....sometimes.

She is a complex case, for sure. I'd be willing to be there is a hell of a lot more than BiPolar I going on (mania).

Meds can only be forced by court order.

With the appointment of a Conservator, you can be darn sure, she is incompetent.
Conservators aren't appointed unless it is a last resort.

Spears clan need to get rid of her shady legal team and start fresh with new ones. She should not have any control until she gets 'stabilized'. She obviously was never able to take care of herself even before. thank goodness those kids are with their dad.

48. I'm so glad that Britney will be in for more than 72 hours. Shame on Cedars-Sinai for letting her out so quickly. Shame ALSO on them for allowing a non-affiliated physician to visit a psych patient. THAT IS ILLEGAL! When you check into a psych hospital, they ask you who you authorize to visit you. There's no way she said "Dr. Phil". He's such an unctuous prick, he makes me want to regurgitate. But that's another story.

Cedars-Sinai is guilty of violating HIPPA (Healthcare Industry Patient Privacy Act), by allowing "Dr." Phil in to see her. It was a violation of her rights as a mental health patient. Is anyone reporting this to JCAHO (Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations)? Harvey, wanna stir up some chit? lol

I hope that Britney agrees to medication treatment ASAP, if not already. If she refuses medication, and a court order cannot be issued to compel her, she will be the same ol' Brit back out on the streets -- only angrier and worse for the experience.

I sincerely wish this young woman well. She has an uphill battle ahead of her.

53. Some of us were saying that a year ago when the Britney lovers were talking about the great comeback she was gonna make. I dont buy this bi-polar diagnosis thou. I think she is so in love with herself that she can't understand why people were going "eeewwww" when she was flashing that ugly Beluga Whale ass.
She lives to be worshipped. I noticed that when she first made the scene. Didn't like her cuz she was way too much into herself with her "Look at me" attitude. She's addicted to being worshipped like a drunk is addicted to booze and, when you don't get it, things happen. She isn't bi-polar. She has a mental disorder called Narcissism described as "personality disorder: in psychiatry, a personality disorder characterized by the patient's overestimation of his or her own appearance and abilities and an excessive need for admiration.:" This bi-polar crap is just a cover-up so the guppies will feel sorry for her and, they do. What sheep.

55. Even without the mental problems, this girl is plain STUPID. So if she didn't have this mental illness, she still wouldnt be competent enough to understand the proceedings or the implications.

She couldn't even figure out what the implications were in having children in the first place. Or marrying Kevin. Or not showing up in court in the custody battle. And so on and so on. This is a major problem when you have the IQ of a flea. And you cant blame all these things on this supposed mental problem. Since Day 1, whenever she was interviewed, you could tell that she was absolutely moronic. For the longest time, she needed handlers in her interviews because she was just too stupid to handle even the simplest questions on her own.

I have and I know how she is feeling at this point.But thank heaven she is getting the help she needs.
Being bi-polar is a condition passed on down from her family.It is nothing she gets in the mail box.
