Many young women want older men and seek them out because of their maturity and stability. She is above the legal age to marry, she is apparently in love with the guy and I see no problem with it. So many young men (and women) these days seem to be immature, self-involved and lack the ability to commit.

66. im 18, and i could never imagine marrying someone 20 years older than myself, i do however date older guys by 4 to 7 years, but 20 is just too much, most 40 year olds have different concept of life, than us younger girls... I did however meet an older guy, once that liked the same thingsa s i did, and had the same concept, but why would i date someone that look old, when i can find someone younger?? does it make sense?

68. I'm sick & tired of people making excuses for older men dating younger women. "Younger women date older men because they are stable". What that does is hide the fact that younger women essentially date their fathers. But we all think that its ok because older men are more "mature". Its an underlying problem where older men date their less responsible younger woman, and younger women date their father like/stable older men.

73. darny, sure, you're 18 and wouldn't date anyone 20 years older now, but what about once you're an adult? You never know what the future holds. Who cares about their age difference, none of you people have to sleep with him! When I was younger, I only dated men that were within 3 years age difference. I continually met guys who either wanted to get married and start a family (I don't want kids), or were total committment-phobes because of past relationships. I met my husband nearly 5 years ago, and he was the last person I imagined ending up with. I had in my head my husband would be the same age as me, but guess what? I fell for someone 16 years older. Big deal, I got over the image in my head and my family loves him, my friends think he's great, we're happy and have a lot in common. Sure, we get looks from strangers sometimes (I look a lot younger than my age), but I say f*** 'em. I know he's not my sugar daddy!

74. So what. My Husband is 10 years older than me. Maybe she was tired of the BS that the younger guys give to us gals. Am I right? I mean If they are in love let them be in love. Age is just a number. What about Demi & Ashton? They have a lot of years between them as well right? So what's the difference? Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes Just another example.
