Brace Yourself for Jeff Conaway

"Celebrity Rehab" patient Jeff Conaway -- Kenickie from "Grease" -- showed up to the Ivy yesterday looking a hot mess -- his entire chest a monstrosity of braces.

Conaway, who snapped a bone in his spine while lifting boxes last year, told TMZ he's had four back surgeries since -- and may even be going in for another. Getting hooked on the painkillers is no longer a problem for the former rehab resident ... he says his dosages are fully supervised.

78. To comment number 50 from Seattle. Do you have any idea what you are talking about??? It makes me so mad when people like you say these ignorant and potentially damaging comments like you have a clue. Have you ever been in his shoes? Do you know him personally? I don't but I can at least appreciate the fact that obviously addiction is a very tragic and painful thing to suffer and for you to blame doctors also... I mean!!! Are you a doctor??? Who the hell are you anyway, you're obviously a very bored and bitter individual who thinks sounding uppity makes you somebody. Ooooh you got me mad.

79. Jeff, I really am hoping for your success. You seem like you can be a really nice guy if it wasn't for your addictions. Keep things that are detrimental away from you. Hope you back gets better, I know how that pain is, my husband has had two surguries and now has a pinched nerve. Get well. You are too talented and special to waste.

80. Jeff,
You scared the heck out of me when I first watched Celebrity Rehab. My brother-in-law died of ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease a little over a year ago. You looked so much like him when he was close to the end that I cried. Please, please keep helping yourself to get well. Seek help where and when you need it. I, too, have severe pain. Prayer seems to help!!! I tried to convince my best friend of 30 years of that. I'm sad to report that she didn't listen and passed away last summer at the age of 40. Keep up the fight! YOU can do it! The whole world is rooting for you and want to see you well and pain free! You are an amazing actor and from what I saw, an honest, straight forward, loving man. I thank God that you have support while you endure these surgeries and the consequences of them. Keep us all posted! WE LOVE YOU JEFF!
Blessings ....
Gina
