Britney SpearsBritney Spears has been released from the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center, the L.A. Times is reporting.

According to the paper, Spears slipped quietly out -- compared to the massive fanfare that went on the night she went in.

A law enforcement source tells TMZ the hospital let her go "because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 AM." We have not confirmed this independently, however, if the hospital decides Britney is no longer a danger to herself or others, the hospital loses its basis to hold her against her will.

She is out of control and going to lose everything she worked for if she doen't get herself together. she is not a kid 26 years old and acti like a child. she has lost her kids and now her dad is in control of her estated and her. she let this happen and when you get and become unstable people start takng advantage of you. it happend to my mother in law. I my 3 sisters in laws gave her lots of drugs when she demanded it and took he money and house and now she is gone. Its happening to Britney now too. she had better grow up fast and pull herself together.

i can not beleive that acrazy judge gave her life say so to her parents who hate her plus her mom ,,that made her mom happy
to run her daughters life ,since they did not get alone ,,the judge should of gave her to a court apointed lawyer instead of her parents the hate her

198. I cannot believe that she is out of the hospital!

All I can say is that I am bipolar, and I wish that I could have such a speedy "stabilization."

I wish her the best, but I have horrible feelings that one day soon I will read here, that she is dead...

...perhaps by the end of the month.

200. This is a person who has never heard the word NO, does not understand "cause and effect" and is so headstrong that she will .. literally will her self to death. Well.. the clock is ticking before she self destructs.

I am sure that her parents are feeling mighty defeated right about now. Brit's problems have their roots in her childhood where her parents could have had control and taught her the things children are supposed to know. But rather they (her parents) chose to exploit her. So it is hard to feel sorry for them, I would say they are feeling their own "cause and effect."

Adnan is nothing but another parasite. Brit is too ignorant to see it.

203. So what if Britney Spears was released form the hospital?! It isn't as if she is a politician or God for crying out loud. Does tmz.com ever get sick and tired of covering every single thing Britney Spears does during the day and night?! I was counting how many articles on the walking trainwreck there are on one page, only two articles here didn't have anything to do with Britney Spears. I'm no fan but the folks at tmz.com needs to get a bloody life and go stalk someone else. If anyone deserves a restraining order against him or her, it is the folks at tmz.com.

204. That's funny, I haven't heard it on TV & you know you would!!! It would be plastered all over the place! There'd probably be a "Special Report" or some sort of program interuption!!! 206. This is NOT GOOD!!! I had hoped she was in a position to get herself stabilized and clean up her act.Well,I guess that was out of the question. I mean, what with the world awaiting her every breath,and the bottom dwellers (paps ) needing to earn a living once again, what chance did she have? Los Angeles drivers beware! I think they let her out because it was too much of a publicity nightmare to keep her in. She's no better than when she went in. Poor, poor girl.
