Britney Spears has been released from the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center, the L.A. Times is reporting.
According to the paper, Spears slipped quietly out -- compared to the massive fanfare that went on the night she went in.
A law enforcement source tells TMZ the hospital let her go "because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 AM." We have not confirmed this independently, however, if the hospital decides Britney is no longer a danger to herself or others, the hospital loses its basis to hold her against her will.

seriously people, how can you make such rude comments? if they didn't think she was capable, they WOULDN'T LET HER GO! it's one of the most reputable hospitals not only in the country, but the world. you don't even know what has happened before the hospital, or while in the hospital, but you still continue to judge - can't you guys for once actually wish someone well?

This is a terrible idea. She will go right back to Sam and this will all start over again. I can't believe the hospital released her. They need to have their heads examined as well.
