272. Can her parents still do anything about this? Can her father, as the conservator whatever, can he stop her from running the streets and blowing more of her money on Adnan and whoever else who tries to use her? Even when she was sane she was dumv and uneducated and clueless about life, but now she's mentally deranged. Does anybody know if her father can put a stop to this? I hope he can. I hope he will.

274. Well its been reported that she was released against her doctor and the parents disapproval, the order came from the court. A court representative made the determination that there was no just cause to hold her in the hospital. This is a quote by another attorney to the newsmedia, "“This is when law and medicine collide, when a lawyer can override a doctor’s opinion.” So, the detmination that she is not harmful to herself did not come from her Doctor, it came from an attorney. Amazing huh.........

275. Okay, I certainly understand that people who are rich and famous get special treatment, that's nothing new. But what I don't understand is why Britney gets even more special treatment that other rich and famous folks who are a lot richer and more famous than she is? She's really a nothing, she's not smart enough to take care of herself even when she's not having issues with mental illness. She's now powerful enough to force that court to cater to her and let her out of a mental hospital against experienced doctors' advice. I mean, I feel sory for her troubles, but truly, she is a just a big NOBODY on the scale of rich to to filthy rich and powerful. what's the deal about this? How much power does she have that the courts have let her get away with missing hearings about child custody, and now this?

277. Well, no, it's about par for the course that a lawyer can override a doctor in ths issue. ANy of you who have dealt with medical insurance these days have probably seen how people who are nothign more than clerks without even a pretense of any medical training override doctor's orders regarding medical testing and surgeries all the time, making the determination that the insurance company will not pay for certain procedures because they (meaning the insurance company) determines that this or that medication or test or surgery is not necessary. I nearly died a few years ago because the insurance company didn't think I needed tests to determine that I had a brain tumor!! I changed doctors 4 times until I found one willing to go against the insurance company and test me anyway.

What I am afraid will happen is that Brit's dad, because he loves her and it finally seemed like she was loving him again, may not be strict enough in his conservator responsibilities, to stop her from her crazy behavior. I understand he won't want her angry and refusing to see him and all, but he just must be strong enough to do what's best for her against her will.

280. I really believed Britney had a mental illness of some sort, but now I am beginning to wonder. There really are people in this world who are just hopelessly no good. Maybe she is one of them, not crazy or mentally ill or bipolar, but simply just stupid, conceited, spoiled, hateful, and trashy. Maybe that's really the truth. If so, there's nothing her parents or doctors or even the courts can do to change her.

I don't know Callie, my daughter use to work with a girl that would not show up for work for weeks, they kept her on the job, one tuesday the girl went out to pick up lunch for the girls, never returned.. weeks later saw her on the news, she was picking up men, going out to the boondocks, at knife point taking thier pants and robbing them. Go figure, the girl was bi polar thats for sure. now she bi polars from a prison cell. I do believe Brit needs lots of serious medical help.. I hope her parents can figure out some way of putting a stop this.

If she truly is bipolar, which I really doubt, and she wasn't taking her medication for being bipolar, the doctors at UCLA would keep her there awhile. The psychiatric hospital at UCLA is one of the best in the world. She's not bipolar.

And in your 'professional opinion' 1/2 of the population of America is bipolar? What you're saying is that approx 190 million Americans are bipolar, and the other half (another approx 190 million) are schizo or paranoid.
