I was 16 yrs old when I went to see Sixteen Candles in the theatre when it first came out. I am 41 now. There is no way she was 14 yrs old when she did that movie. Getting older isn't a sin but why do people have to lie about there age, if Molly Ringwald is in fact doing so?

Damn! It must really suck to have to go through life looking like that!!! Poor girl...

Who is the person that thought of this degrading idea of posting then and now pictures? I'd like to see what they look like when they're 40, 50, 60 etc...They probably look horrible now at whatever age they are presently. Can't they come up with a better idea? As for Molly Ringwald...she looks GREAT!!!

Never thought she was an overly attractive girl, but I've always loved her movies. However, she looks freakin' FABULOUS!! I wish she would come back to the movie making business.

Ron, do your math, lol. The movie was released in 1984, so if you were 14 that means that you are about to turn 38 this year, geez...why lie about your age??

I have heard she is now a journalist - she covers entertainment news and writes reviews for the Hartford Courant and Westchester Journal, and has a child.
