Lets Get This Party Started
Heath's Pad Already Being Shopped

Just two weeks after Heath Ledger's body was found lifeless in a SoHo apartment, that apartment is already on the market again -- for $25,000 per month.

"You don't wait around in a hot rental market like this," said one broker to the New York Post. "As ghoulish as it sounds, people will rent that place in a heartbeat, especially when the vacancy rate is below 1 percent." The loft at 421 Broome Street had been rented by the late actor since last September for $22,000/month.

Just yesterday, the medical examiner ruled that Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Jay-Z – Making Yet Another Comeback?

Jay ZJay-Z retired from hip-hop about three times, and just quit the record-exec racket a few months ago.

But now, report Rush & Molloy, Jay could be on his way back -- again -- to start his own label, with a guy who used to be his rival. He and Lyor Cohen of Warner Music are talking about putting together the Carter Music Group (a reference to Jay-Z's real name, Shawn Carter).

"He wouldn't mind having a small label for the talent he discovers," says a source. "He'd let somebody else do the heavy lifting."

If you Pharmacy Shop, i.e.: pick up different med's at different pharmacies (Vlaium at CVS, Sleep script at Walgreen's, etc.) it subverts the protection. That's how Rush Limbaugh was able to get so many med's: he doctor-shopped, and pharmacy shopped... it's a deliberate attempt to go under the radar.

18. I can easily see how someone could of taken all of those meds together. I mean a lot of people take those two pain meds together. I can't see why he would take two benzo's like valium and xanax because they basically do the same thing. However, he may not of known that and by the time you have taken one or two of them you may not have the ability to clearly know what you are doing. Add to that insomnia and this is something that can easily happen. IT doesn't just happen in Hollywood either. Also, it is plausible that one doctor wrote all of those perscriptions. I mean he could of had him on Hydrocodone and Valium and Heath went back to the doc and said "This isn't working", so the doc ups it to Oxycodone and Xanax. Same goes for Restoril and Unisom, I mean the doc could of had him on them and changed them. Also, I know a lot of people find this hard to believe but a lot of doctors don't take the time to tell you what interacts with what. I think it is really really sad that they are already trying to rent out his apartment, but if no one is paying the rent anymore, then I guess they have to do what they have to do.

19. Also, alot of pharmacies do not take the time to tell you that the old drug the doc took you off of, will interact with the new drug he is putting you on, if taken together. Maybe, they assume the doc told you , whatever , but I know it happens. Plus, being that Heath is an actor it is very reasonable to assume he went to different doctors and used different pharmacies because he wasn't in one place all the time. So, he may not of been deliberatley doctor shopping. I know several people that have taken 4 out of the 6 together and nothing happened to them. I know people that are prescribed a lot of those together, not all of them. However, who doesn't go to the doctor and then if you don't take all the perscriptions you still keep them and store them in your medicine cabinet in case you do need them later on?

20. Guess who OWNS the apartment? Mary Kate Olsen! Now does it make sense why the maid she hired for her rental property called her first??? I know, still doesn't make sense to not call 911 first...

21. Ha! Is Marc Jacobs getting ready to launch a new line of everyday white t-shirts and x-long baggy shorts for the over 30 crowd?

22. Shane, my house is haunted too. I greeted them when we moved in, told them we wouldn't bother them if they didn't bother us and everything's been fine. In fact, they alerted me twice when someone was trying to break in. Or, if it wasn't them then I have some serious super-hearing.

23. Kate and Brook, exactly what I would have said if I'd seen NeNe first. I have tried to explain this on other threads.

24. Dang Baseball Junkie, what you doing all the way down here telling ghost stories? :)

Posted at 8:49PM on Feb 7th 2008 by Kelli

25. Kelli, I calls em as I sees em. Besides ghost stories are most amusing when they're real so long as you don't go out searching for them. That's just creepy.
