Another Celeb Smacked in the Face

Little Kingston James McGregor Rossdale threw a little tantrum yesterday afternoon -- pulling at Gwen Stefani's hair and even slapping at her gorgeous mug. Not the face, King, not the face!

TMZ caught Gwen and baby outside their NYC hotel, where the adorable tot was happy to run around on the sidewalk and converse with an enormous passing dog. When Gwen scooped him up to take him to an SUV, baby was not havin' it! Nobody puts baby in an SUV!

31. Welllll.....he is a normal bratty toddler. He,s just seeing wheat he can, and can't get away with, with mom. He wanted to stay and play, and she (in his mind) was ruining his fun! Made him mad, so hit mom. He'll learn that is not acceptable behavior. As long as mom is consisitent in teaching him. And you are right, if she had tried to correct him in public, in front of the paps, there would have been a HUGE bruhaha over it!

32. On a different note.....Did anyone notice how she puts him in the backseat then quickly goes to the other side, it appears as if she never buckled him.. From her reaction it seemed like it was the Nanny's job to buckle him in becuase the nanny quickly goes to his door after Gwen goes by.

33. Typical toddler behavior, not a big deal. I've raised 4 kids and they all had toddler tantrums just like this and guess what? They've all grown into normal, law-abiding citizens.

Now would someone please explain how "beating his ass" is supposed to teach him NOT to hit?

"I'm hitting you to teach you not to hit!" What a screwed up message!

35. She's got her hands full with one child!

36. That was a stupid video. What's the news in a kid acting like a kid??? Leave them alone. What happened to leaving celebs kids out of the spotlight?? Don't you think you are profiting from their children when you post stupid crap like this??

37. Get over it people! All kids are different some act out and some don't. And if you've ever had children then you would know that kids act out at the worst time. If she woud have disaplined him, then the headline would read "GWEN HITS SON" or something stupid like that.

38. Those of you that state she should have punished him are idiots...as other said...what a hey day the paps would have had with that! As far as buckling him in his car seat...she could have done that in the car and besides...with cameras in her face I can only imagine she want to get in the car as fast as she can. Oh ya...like any of you wouldn't have a nanny to help with your kids if you could afford it. Jelousy is a funny thing isn't it!!!

39. Typical toddler, although some are more difficult than others. My children were raised in the same way, but the last one threw me for a loop. He had tantrums that could be pretty fierce, but the others never behaved in that way. He wanted to be a 'big boy' long before his time and it was a constant struggle. Communication at that age isn't easy and some will vent their frustrations. The issue can be made worse if they're behind verbally, like my last one was. I know children with autism are prone to tantrums as well. That doesn't mean it's ok to hit, but it doesn't mean they're spoiled. Also, don't think for a minute you 'raised your kid right' and 'better than others' just because they didn't have tantrums. Far from the truth and quite scary, really.

40. IT IS REALLY NICE BE ABLE TO CLICK ON SOMETHING AND NOT HAVE A BUNCH OF BRIT DRAMA! NEVER THOUGHT THERE WOULD COME A DAY.........QUIET BEFORE THE STORM?!?

THIS IS A TYPICAL TODDLER. HOWEVER, SHE MIGHT WANT TO BE A LITTLE BIT MORE CAREFUL WITH A TODDLER AROUND DOGS!

41. As a teacher and mother of 5 I can assure you it's perfectly normal toddler behavior. For those who claim their kids never act/acted like that, you're either lying or you need to have your child checked by a pediatricain.

42. All kids do that on occasion. They healthily want to explore the world, right now, on their terms, lol, and don't mess with a toddler's exploration agenda! He's not spoiled, and those of you who say so can't have had kids yet, hehe. You're in for a (shock) treat. Gwen gave him lots of room to go, and very patiently tried to stay out of his space as long as safety wasn't an issue. They don't like it when it's time to go if they/re having fun. Asserting themselves like this is an autonomy growth milestone you want them to reach. They just don't know that they're are still not in charge yet...

43. Well, at least she somewhat takes care of her own kid.

45. He's TWO! Thats what they do! If any of you say your two or three year old never had a tantrum like that then you are lying! How would you like to have cameras taking pictures of your every move or even worse your CHILDS every move. I think Gwen showed great restraint. I'm sure she reprimanded him in the car when the cameras are not on her face!
