Family and Friends Lay Heath to Rest

Michelle Williams arrived for today's memorial service for her former fiancé, Heath Ledger, arm-in-arm with Heath's sister, Kate.

The service was held at Penrhos College in Perth, Australia. Ledger's father, Kim, said the service would be followed by a private funeral -- he requested privacy and did not reveal the time or location.

"The funeral will be very, very private and there will only be 10 people there, immediate family and nobody else,'' he told reporters. "It's a pretty sad time. We're finding it difficult to cope by ourselves, let alone cope with everybody around the world. Having said that, we do really appreciate the outpouring and the emotional support from all over the globe."

46. RiBiker,

Sorry for my mistake. It was an accident and please do not undermine my intelligence for a slip up. Thank you for pointing it out tho.

49. I have not been calling anyone names actually. The only person I called a name was Baby Ruth, and I apoligize for that. You are the one calling me an idiot.

50. There are different ways to kill yourself, some are a slow suicide, some from risk taking, abusing alcohol, etc.

It is unfortunate that such a painful event would be made public but that is the price paid when people choose and wish for the many perks of fame. The medical examiner likely felt it was a form of suicide, but absent any obvious triggering event called it accidental.

It is absurd there is a federal investigation - wasting our limited resources., This would not occur with a non-celebrity. Why doesn't the fed investigate and lambast alcohol when people drink too much and die and kill others?

Now doctors won't prescribe meds to people who really need them because one celebrity chose to abuse them. It is insane. You cannot ever stop people from taking drugs. THEY SHOULD FOCUS ON LIMITING ALCOHOL WHICH IS THE MOST ABUSED AND DANGEROUS DRUG - responsible for auto deaths, domestic violence and more. But the alcohol lobby is powerful.

Stopping drugs is pointless - it is the pain causing someone to take drugs that needs healing.

51. Nobody needs to undermine your intelligence, jessica. You do that all by yourself, IDIOT

53. And that last comment just proved you are here to do nothing but attack someone who is just asking that people show respect to a man who lost his life. No matter what the cause. You are attacking me for that and that speaks volumes about your character.

54. Another "father" who loved the drugs more than his daughter. Now, if only Britney would off herself too, all the little children would be better off!

55. Can't stand the fact she's getting some support, Joanie? We are different people trust me. Actually I hate that expression, so don't. I pick my screen names after people I know. All I can say is I am not Jessica. Take it or leave it. I just think she's handling herself well. I have been on here before and have seen some of your (and FIBikers posts) and you guys are pretty rough (in a good way sometimes, but today, not). I'm backing up someone I agree with as you and FIBiker are (or are you really FIBiker??)

56. Please don't wish death on anyone. Its horrible to do. No matter how messed up someone is they still deserve life. No child is better off without a mother and Britney has a mental disorder, she cannot help her behavior sometimes. Bipolar disorder is a serious condition, a family member of mine has it, it is a horrible thing.

60. Rest in Peace, Heath. I'm glad that people have respected this private time in his familie's lives. We really don't need picture, though! Let them mourn in peace, TMZ.
