Jamie Lynn Is a Good Mother ... to Her Dog

People are so cruel. I would hope that she doesn't go to this site and actually read the mean, nasty comments about her that people post. She took her dog to the vets office, people, does it really merit all the negativity.

#92 (and all others with witty remarks like that): I hope you hold that opinion of all unwed mothers, or people who have unplanned pregnancies. Please, go around and be ignorant like that. That will get you so far. So the next time one of your classmates messes up and gets pregnant and has to drop out of school, I hope you go over to their house and call her trash, too. Or your co-worker who gets pregnant? I am sure you know of others this has happened to, even a friend of a friend. Did you share your sentiments as crassly with them, too? Or is it just easier to be bitchy hiding behind a blog?

I am one of those who has said and still think that 16 is too young to have a child. However, some of the things said above made me think. I did hold a friend's hand as she had an abortion. She didn't want to have a child yet but woke up one night to find her boyfriend was having sex with her without protection because he wanted a child. She dumped him immediately and moved in with me. She had an abortion because she couldn't take care of a baby then and, in fact, would have lost her job if her boss found out she was going to be an unwed mother. It was her choice and she will always live with it. She was 23 and a college graduate.

It is Jamie-Lynn's choice to have the baby. Her body, Her choice. Should she have been more careful? Probably. Did she get pregnant on purpose? I don't know. I don't think anything has been said about it.

Will she be a good mother? Who knows? Only time will tell. I hope for the baby's sake she will be. But I think she will have a better chance than Britney because she will have a better support network. Everybody thought Britney was an adult and could take care of herself.
If you look back, you can see the Britney was starting to act strangely but not so much that she seemed crazy. That's the way insanity works. Somebody starts out normal, starts acting a little strange, then a little stranger until they are full-blown crazy. But you don't see it coming on because it's a slow series of small changes.

To the mother who's worried about how she's going to tell her daughter that Zoey is pregnant. This might be a perfect time to teach your daughter the difference between fact and fiction. In fact, you might want to learn it yourself. Characters on television shows are not real and the actors are not the character.
You remind me of the idiots insisting that Heath Ledger was gay because he played one in Brokeback Mountain. Or the girl who insisted that she was disappointed when Orlando Bloom got into a car accident because she loved Legolas.

CLUE TIME: Actors are actors, characters are characters. Stop confusing them.

So it seems to everyone that just because you are in your teen ages means there is no possible way in the universe that you can be mature or mature enough to be a good parent. I have seen stories of even 19s who are pregnant and yes some of them are in no way going to be good parent because they did not act mature what so ever. Obviously,the odds of a child around the ages 1-10 to be mature, would be very UNlikely, but as you get older your percentage for possiblely being mature increases. Although some people tend to fall back to be unmatureeven when they are in there 20s. But if there is still a chance that because of this whole situation that she will have to grow up faster and mature quicker in order to become a better parent because of such a big responsibility in her life. Responsibilty does in some ways cause us to mature because we later realize that we ourselves must be responible otherwise we do not care what happens in our life.

Also according to the paparazzi, she was to be approximately 12 weeks pregnant around December 14. Well if I did my math right that is approximately 3 months before December right. Which is about September 14 give or take the fact she might have a late baby. Now according to these numbers and dates that bring her to about 21 weeks which is 5 months and 1 week. Does she look that pregnant? I don't see that. Just a note to the paps take a better picture of her from her profile angle or for the side because unless we all see that type of photo we might as well notice that we can't see her depth of the stomach region from a frontal photo and we can only see the width of her stomach plus her size of the hoodie.

Come on people, she can be a good mother. I graduated HS (not a GED) at 16, married shortly after ( for love and the availability of housing on campus) and while attending college, had a child at 17. I now have a wonderful family, a nice, comfortable life, and a decent marriage. Granted, the baby complicated school and neither my husband and myself got into the college party scene, but that wasn't a bad thing IMO.
Let me tell you as well, every family has it's problems. I can speak of my parents and my inlaws but neither will get the parent of the year award, but we love them yet the same.

Just because her sister is going through a tough time right now, and is making some mistakes,doesn't mean jamie-lynn is following in her footsteps. LEAVE Jamie-lynn alone, in fact LEAVE BOTH OF THEM ALONE!!!!!
