560. To rukiddingme (msg #104): I totally agree. No one made Britney blow off all those court appearances. She chose to do that on her own. Just a reminder: the U.S. court system strongly favors the mother in child disputes. Therefore, all Britney had to do was to behave like a semi-responsible semi-adult, and she'd still have custody of her kids. In other words, a woman would have to _work_ at losing visitation rights to her own children, and Britney did just that. She ignored court orders, and she showed up to hearings whenever she felt like it or not at all. She has spent more time changing her clothes and hair style and accent, flirting with the paparazzi and inviting them to party with her, hanging out in gas station bathrooms with Adnan, having lunches at places like the Beverly Hills Hotel, and engaging in other equally worthy causes than on the small amount of effort that it would take to keep from blowing her custody and visitation rights. It's true that we don't know lots of personal things about Britney, but we don't need to. Her known actions speak volumes about the priority that she gives to her children.

561. Britney Spears declined an offer to perform at the Grammy's after being offered a spot by CBS. It's a good thing too, because she needs to get her life back in order before she does any performance.

Plus, her album "Blackout" was released after the cutoff for it to be nomintated, so it was already unlikely that she'd attend the Grammy's.

Hjelmbak was present at the 2a.m. Kitsons shopping spree. One aside, I believe Kitsons issued a statement that the shopping spree was no “on the house” and they are awaiting payment. I believe this was the same night of the X17 XCLUSIVE: “Britney's Not Pregnant - Period!” when Spears was photographed in a dazed state, inappropriately dressed and menstruating (I refuse to provide a link such a vile site).

566. The bottom line is TMZ exists because of a compulsive obsessive sosiety that can't deal with their own problems and rather just read about other peoples. If people can look at celebrities at that makes them feel better than that is all they need. Well, they think. People shouldn't be wasting their time watching celebrities, what they should be doing is being part of a much greater community that deals with the real problems at hand like for example peoples compulsive obsessive disorders such as snacking a wee too much. People need church, but not the type where people tell us we're damned to hell for our transgressions, rather one where we all get together and figure a way out of these financial and emotional strains our society puts on us. The celebrities must help us and be our voice, rather than us sitting on our couches hating on them. We have become a very compartmentalized society and it is truely sad that we are sitting here pulling Britney down when she really deserves our total love and respect.
