63. A live broadcast awards show is too tightly scripted to allow for anything unpredictable to disrupt it -that includes unreliable performers like Britney.

As for getting back her dance moves, Britney renting a studio for an hour on a Friday evening is the equivalent of a teenager dancing in front of her bedroom mirror while pretending a hairbrush is a microphone. She's not working; she may be exercising and she may be havng fun, and it may be healthy she's doing it, but she's not doing anything that would lead to a "comeback."

Not everyone feels the need to go out and buy a shirt thats worth a gazillion dollars so get off your freaking high horse already. If you're hands aren't clean, you have no right to point fingers. And as for sam and people not beleive that whole story...you'd be amazed at what you would beleive when you're already hitting rock bottom. The power of suggestion is very strong indeed and some people are just more sensitive to it than others. Some of you are no better than her or her family. Granted you might not make the same mistakes she has, but no one, and I do mean NO ONE is the epitome of perfection. And if you think you are.... there's your mistake.

67. #49 Lisa. Good post. Yes, the grammy's are ssssooo classy, Amy Weinhouse (although I DO love her music and am routing for her also), is so way glam and proper. And those rappers (again, love their music) but come on ... a protocol? Of course it's appropriate for TMZ to point out the classless Corona shirt...this is an alcoholic man who has exploited and been emotionally abusive (according to reports in Rolling Stone) towards her, and managed to spend all her Mickey Mouse money and leave her with nothing after working hard from the time she was 10. She pays for his rehab, he then asks and gets a huge handout, millions, from her to open a restaurant. But that was not enough...he wants it all, again. Why in the world would a recovering alcoholic weare a Corona t-shirt, particularly around his daughter when it appears she was abusing alcohol and perhaps drugs herself.

How many genuine recovering alcoholics helping children with alcohol abuse problems would advertise alcohol on their clothing. Wake up people. The man just wants to control her money again...he did such a good job last time.

And for those of you who say they are best to make her medical decisions, clearly you are wrong. They bought her breast implants when she hadnèt fully matured...Ièm surprised a surgeon could ethically perform that surgery on a girl that was still developing.

69. I hate to say it, but Perez is starting to earn my respect in a major way for his handling of this situation. He COULD be going at Brit and her family with snide remarks, but he seems to be the only site to be pulling back a bit. Maybe it's time to let sleeping dogs lie and let the girl recover.

And I TOTALLY agree with the poster who said that the paps are heckling Daddy Spears because he's cut them off from their meal ticket. Osama Lutfi fed them information and made them LOTS of money. The parents just wanna make sure her cheques keep coming in and that they can play around with her money as much as possible before they get their greedy asses booted to the curb for the last time by Brit next week when she gains control. If they really cared, they wouldn't have her out working, they'd take her somewhere nice and relaxing, like Hawaii, which she loves. I haven't seen the girl on a vacation since she was there with KFED and the kids a couple years ago. This girl needs some serious rest and recovery time, but daddy ain't gonna let that happen. These parents have abused her forever and repeatedly breached child labor laws by working her 20 hour days for days on end, then they blow all her money!!! Crazy stuff.

White Trash is a state of mind or way of conducting yourself.

Your not high class just because you have money, just as if your poor, doesn`t necessarily mean your trash. I know many people with very little income that keep their homes nice and clean and are always freshly showered and well put together, yet I have friends that have lots of money, that let their children run around in nasty as$ clothes with snot running down their faces. Their house so filthy you wouldn`t take your shoes off when entering.

Money can`t buy class, nor will a lack of it necessarily mean you have none.

Lenn K....i do all those things too, except the Beverly Hills hotel, but I did do breakfast at the Sheraton yesterday and I've made 4 trips to Starbucks in 24 hours, and made a few frivolous purchases this week (but no one is trying to stop me from spending my hard earned money the way I like). Should I be locked up, or is it just that you don't agree that a pop star should be doing that, and therefore she should be locked up???
