Celebs Still Gotta Pay the Bills

With the writers strike not official until a Tuesday vote, "Heroes" star Greg Grunberg, "Housewives" hunk James Denton, "Cashmere Mafia's" Bonnie Somerville and former "Bachelor" Bob all played the Dockers Final Round event in Pebble Beach on Saturday night. Who needs TV?!

Apparently, the group isn't too hard up for funds -- their fees went to charity.

16. And No Rebecca Budig, Bob's wife was not there last night, she is in NY taping her soap.

18. This is the losers band. What's crazy is that I'm in the audience at the Grammys and on TMZ!

19. Yes and unfortuate for us that these losers and members of F.A.G will be speaking from the writers again. Damn, the strike should have been longer. This also goes to prove to all you who has the real power: THE RECORDING ACADEMY. Hell yeah!

20. Hey Baseball Junkie...

To answer both questions....did not see the wife of Bob there. And their music is mostly rock...everything from "Mustang Sally" to Maroon 5's "This Love". All covers, all hits. Perfect for the 30-40-something crowd that was partying like no tomorrow.

21. Sounds great. Wish I'd been there. Doubt they'll ever play up our way and I don't get to travel much.

24. I'm so disappointed there was no mention that God--er, I mean, HUGH LAURIE (a.k.a. House) is also in this band! Hugh rocks harder than the rest of these guys (and surely Bonnie S. doesn't even deserve to breathe the same AIR as Hugh!) -- harder than pretty much anyone in the universe!

Just gotta give a shout-out to my Dr. House. It's downright shameful he should have been forgotten!

25. And you call yourself a celeb watcher, pfffft? How can you not know actors from the very top shows? Don't you watch television?

26. I was lucky enough to have dinner with Greg Grunberg and his agents in Orlando when he was doing a sci-fi expo down there. He had a clip of the band on his iPhone & showed it to everyone - they are really very good, hopefully I'll be able to catch them live sometime!

27. Bob the Bachelor is NOT a celebrity! He married an actress, but that doesn't mean he has any marketable talent himself! He's a wanna-be. And not a very good one at that.

28. I was at the Dockers party and the band was amazing! They had SO much energy and rocked the house. I saw actor Tim Daly in the audience too...that party was the event of the season down at Pebble Beach, you should have seen the line of people trying to beg their way in!! It's awesome that they're giving their $ to charity.

29. The reason HUGH, apparently your GOD, was not mentioned is because he didn't play at that particular gig. He doesnt play half of them. Which is his choice and not because he is just to busy,
This band raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for many chanrities, Even though they do sound pretty decent.. just the money they rais elaone is good enough,
As for Bob... The band is called BAND FROM TV.. not Band of Actors. Bob has been on tv doing many hosting gigs for over 4 years now...On many different netwoks from ABC, E! Bravo, VH1 along with 2 of his own shows that he hosts weekly on TLC and CMT channel. They are lucky to have him as lead vocals. He has had his own band since the early 90's so he is more experienced then any of the others.
