Underage DJs Kill at Grammy Party

Two DJs tore it up at the Warner Music Group Grammy party last night -- and amazingly, both of them are under 10 years old!

Six-year-old Ryusei and nine-year-old DJ Sara set the scene on fire as they twirled turntables at Vibiana, leaving the audience of recording artists and execs absolutely stunned! Like many of the partygoers, they needed someone else to drive them home.

17. Soooo, what you're ACTUALLY saying is that you only need the intellectual and emotional maturity of a SIX YEAR OLD to be a DJ....
...go figure..

26. Wow. You guys a bunch of whiners. Just cause no one showed their cooter, you get all cranky. Get over it.

And for those of you that think it takes no talent to either scratch or simply mix a dj set, I invite you to go ahead and link to your work. I'd love to see the quality fo work you could turn out. By the way, scratching a needle across a record accidentally is not the same as scratching with a beat and finding and looping back to particular parts of the scratched record. It takes talent to do well.

You sound like my grandparents whining about rock music. What are you 65 and living in Florida? Hike up your pants and turn the AC off.

27. you people know nothing about DJs...stop hating. Not all Djs play with ipods geesh. Jusr because a DJ has a laptop means nothing except that the poor guy doesn't have to lug 13 crates of records around with him. It still requires the same technique and skills as if with old fashion vinyl. Besides that we have to deal with your stupid asses every night in the booth with your stupid requests and the "play it next we're leving in 5 minutes" attitude.

Not bad if you like scratching. I like more music mixed in.

As ridiculous as it sounds, that does take a fair amount of talent. Or at least a good ear for what parts of a record can be looped to create a beat or whatever. Some some crazy reflexes probably wouldn't hurt either.
