Barron Snockered, According to Cops

The Sheriff's Department tells TMZ Barron Hilton registered at nearly twice the legal limit, even for people over 21.

Spokesman Steve Whitmore tells us Barron blew a .14 blood alcohol reading.

In California, .08 is considered legally intoxicated for drivers over 21. If they're under 21 -- Barron is 18 -- any blood alcohol level is considered legally drunk.

In addition to the misdemeanor DUI charge, Hilton was also charged with carrying a false California driver's license. Whether the fake ID said he was over 21 or not is unknown at this time. His bail is set at $20,000. Chump change!

39. I am so SICK of drunk drivers, and California is nothin but. How anyone can drive the streets there and not worry aout getting killed by one of these high ons is beyond me. And they always get a slap on the wrist. Hey people in Cali, why don't you take a stand and elect some officials who will take a tougher stance on driving under the influence?! What are your tax dollars going for when they let them out after serving 20 hours or less?!

41. Just an FYI to anyone who gives a rip about stopping DRUNK DRIVERS. In Washington state, where I live, they are forming a bill for it. They are making it to where if you get a DUI, you have to get A BRIGHT ORANGE LICENSE PLATE. A form of a scarlet letter, I suppose. Let everyone else on the road know they are stupid and to be careful around them.
