Barron Snockered, According to Cops

The Sheriff's Department tells TMZ Barron Hilton registered at nearly twice the legal limit, even for people over 21.

Spokesman Steve Whitmore tells us Barron blew a .14 blood alcohol reading.

In California, .08 is considered legally intoxicated for drivers over 21. If they're under 21 -- Barron is 18 -- any blood alcohol level is considered legally drunk.

In addition to the misdemeanor DUI charge, Hilton was also charged with carrying a false California driver's license. Whether the fake ID said he was over 21 or not is unknown at this time. His bail is set at $20,000. Chump change!

48. 40. Just an FYI to anyone who gives a rip about stopping DRUNK DRIVERS. In Washington state, where I live, they are forming a bill for it. They are making it to where if you get a DUI, you have to get A BRIGHT ORANGE LICENSE PLATE. A form of a scarlet letter, I suppose. Let everyone else on the road know they are stupid and to be careful around them.

I live in Ohio and we already have those plates! They are really funny to see!!!!!! We also have a florestent green for sex offenders!!!!!!

I agree the Parents for the celeb kids need to take major parenting classes and learn how to be good parents!!!!!!!!!!!

53. Michelle, I understand and have a feeling who this is. I wont say because it's pointless. I have always posted that people who drink and drive are stupid. I lost a very good friend in High School that way and was suppose to have been in the car with him that night. Trust me, that saying only the good die young has a powerful meaning to me every time I think of my friend. Sorry again and please type all day long to Jizzy if it helps.
