Lets Get This Party Started
Britney Teaching Other People's Tots?

Without kids of her own to dance with, Britney Spears spent yesterday afternoon shakin' it with a bunch of youngsters not too much older than Sean Preston.

The Britwreck, reports Usmagazine.com, got the five-year-olds grooving to the sounds of Madonna -- "Material Girl," in particular -- while clad in fishnet stockings, a short skirt, and her fave brown boots. Apparently, says Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker, she had to introduce herself to the kids.

Britney hasn't seen her own children since January 3.

Wineheezy Slammed by Cole – "Bad Message"

Everyone seemed pretty stoked about Amy Winehouse's big Grammy night -- everyone, that is, except Grammy winner Natalie Cole.

She told People on Sunday night that she thinks Wino's wins send "a bad message" and that "it's not right for her to be able to have her cake and eat it too ... She needs to get herself together." Cole clarified: You don't get to just do your drugs and go onstage and get rewarded." Natalie survived a bout with drugs and alcohol in the early '80s.

Cole, as it happens, won her first Grammy back in 1975 as Best New Artist, as Winehouse did Sunday night.

Party Favors: Scarlett and Ryan – Not Getting Hitched ... Kareem Abdul-Jabblogger? ... Lil' Wayne Drinks Your Absinthe, He Drinks It Up!

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, despite whispers that they're going to be tying the knot, are very much not, says Usmagazine.com. ... Even though he might not have been very chatty to a TMZ reporter recently, Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will be blogging it up for the L.A. Times, yakking online on pretty much everything from sports to history. ... Lil' Wayne couldn't get clearance to shoot his new video in Las Vegas casinos, but TMZ has learned that Palms and Sacramento Kings owner Gavin Maloof gave the rapper his house to use -- and plenty of Le Tourment Absinthe to drink in the video.

31. I agree with Natalie Cole. This sends the wrong message to our youth---and they are the only ones who matter.

34. Baseball junkie--That is the stupidest arguement I have ever heard...she drove around under the influence and no seat belts, she is only a danger to her own kids, nobody elses! OKAYYYYYYYY.....

35. Natalie Cole is way out of line..She has been on drugs and done a lot of other stupid stuff..Like marrying a minister here in Nashville, TN a few years ago...Who are we to judge anybody..Amy won fair and square...If she has a problem with Amy chop it up..It's over..Go to speech Therapy and shout the hell up...Go find another young man (minister to marry) for him to divorce her...I love Natalie but she is way out of LINE...I could go on and on about some of the things she and her ex has done here in Nashville like trying to charge church members to come to their wedding...She doesn't need to throw stones...I can't believe her attitude about this...

36. Britney needs to be around people who don't know who she is--it's good for her. He family should ship her to a place where no one has heard of her or knows her likeness (and there are such places, believe me--I've been to some of them)--After a year or two there she might have a chance of becoming a functioning human being.

37. As always TMZ trying to make a mockery of Britney. People magazine reports that Britney is going to be a dance instructor for the kids at the dance studio and the kids parents approved and loved how good she was with the kids. They said Britney even played with the kids and they loved her. Britney is not a bad person. She is now getting the help she needs from her family. To all you ignorant people.. get a life and work own your own issues.

38. Sounds like a case of sour grapes on Cole's part. She hasn't had a hit in decades and has been forgotten. Winehouse is very talented but she has an addiction problem that she's trying to beat. Cole should be a bit more sympathetic instead of nitpicking at someone who's ill.

39. I agree with Natalie and whether or not Natalie herself battled addiction isn't the point, the point is bad behavior is constantly rewarded especially among the rich and famous - the message this sends to people and especially the young is and will be morally damaging in our society. My personal opinion on Amy Winehouse, drug addiction or not, I just don't see her as a great talent.

40. Amen, Natalie Cole! She's been there, she should know. At least someone in the music business said it. Watching Amy Winehouse's trainwreck of a life play out may be entertaining to some, but I find it quite pathetic. A fantastic artist like Feist goes unrecognized, and an idiot like Winehouse wino-s her way to a bunch of Grammys...please.

41. Natalie Cole needs to shut the hell up and stop preaching B.S., because when she was getting a grammy riding daddy's coat tail with her album 200 years ago at the same time she was doing some major cocaine!!!! Somebody needs to tell that hypocrite b_ _ch to shut the F up!

42. Jill, the point of my argument, which you obviously missed, is that she lost control of her children because she placed them in danger. How could she possibly have placed these children in danger? I would not want her to get in a car and drive anywhere with any of those kids but she cannot possibly put those kids in danger in a dance studio. Like I said, try thinking and getting a grip on reality.
Your counter to my argument shows that you have not even attempted to seriously think about the situation. You are so blinded by your hatred of Britney that I wonder you haven't broken your nose by walking into a building. I repeat, those children were never in any danger. You can't endanger a child by showing them a few dance moves on solid ground inside a building. Unless of course you fell on one during an earthquake and even Britney cannot control that.
Jill, you are an idiot. Remove your blinders and join the real world.

43. I don't think people should buy Amy's records to support her drug use. She should NOT have been allowed to get awards for her music. The entire industry is SICK, The only way to clean it up to to stop buying their material and records.

Posted at 9:55AM on Feb 12th 2008 by Mark

44. If we stopped giving out awards to those who are on drugs or trying to get sober & are in the public eye- we would probably lose half easy. Natalie Cole should accept that Amy earned it despite her issues. Look at Elvis, John Lennon, Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison, those are just some of the people who had drug issues and look at what they contributed to the industry over the years.

45. I completely 100% agree with Natalie Cole. Amy Winehouse does not deserve her awards, I don't care how good of a singer she is. She's a major drug addict! What kind of message does that send? That no matter how much of a mess you are, you'll be rewarded? Why not give Britney Spears an award as well? Its a travesty and it will certainly do Winehouse no favors. If anything, it will only fuel her habit. As for Natalie and her own past drug use, she's learned from experience what drugs and success can do. She is only passing along her knowledge; perhaps if someone had guided her back in those dark drug days, she may have found help sooner.... You looked great, Natalie!
