Lets Get This Party Started
Britney Teaching Other People's Tots?

Without kids of her own to dance with, Britney Spears spent yesterday afternoon shakin' it with a bunch of youngsters not too much older than Sean Preston.

The Britwreck, reports Usmagazine.com, got the five-year-olds grooving to the sounds of Madonna -- "Material Girl," in particular -- while clad in fishnet stockings, a short skirt, and her fave brown boots. Apparently, says Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker, she had to introduce herself to the kids.

Britney hasn't seen her own children since January 3.

Wineheezy Slammed by Cole – "Bad Message"

Everyone seemed pretty stoked about Amy Winehouse's big Grammy night -- everyone, that is, except Grammy winner Natalie Cole.

She told People on Sunday night that she thinks Wino's wins send "a bad message" and that "it's not right for her to be able to have her cake and eat it too ... She needs to get herself together." Cole clarified: You don't get to just do your drugs and go onstage and get rewarded." Natalie survived a bout with drugs and alcohol in the early '80s.

Cole, as it happens, won her first Grammy back in 1975 as Best New Artist, as Winehouse did Sunday night.

Party Favors: Scarlett and Ryan – Not Getting Hitched ... Kareem Abdul-Jabblogger? ... Lil' Wayne Drinks Your Absinthe, He Drinks It Up!

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, despite whispers that they're going to be tying the knot, are very much not, says Usmagazine.com. ... Even though he might not have been very chatty to a TMZ reporter recently, Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will be blogging it up for the L.A. Times, yakking online on pretty much everything from sports to history. ... Lil' Wayne couldn't get clearance to shoot his new video in Las Vegas casinos, but TMZ has learned that Palms and Sacramento Kings owner Gavin Maloof gave the rapper his house to use -- and plenty of Le Tourment Absinthe to drink in the video.

106. I don't believe the story one bit about Britney teaching kids at the dance studio. I have yet to see any photos of kids in the pics. I do see her with ripped up fishnets, bra less, smoking and playing peek a boo with the paps. Who would allow their kids to take dance lessons from her in state of mind she is in at the moment?

107. Nat should know better & need to check HERSELF, not AMY's person or the fact that Amy is loved... unconditionally. I think it's bitterness with jealousy. Oh well...

108. I think is good that Amy is trying to let go of her addiction but i dont agree that she is a great artist like many people imply. I haven't heard not one song of hers that i would like and i trully believe it is an insult that she won a grammy for a song in which she screams that she wont go to rehab. I am also shocked that the grammy members would actually vote her best vocal album or something over Christina Aguilera because we all know Christina has one of the most amazing voices out in hollywood.

I think that these members are not voting for talented celebrities and new upcoming artist...

109. A black princess who had every imaginable opportunity in the world and, yet, became a drug addict herself! She has no right to castigate this British talent and should only wish her the best as she searches for herself! The "privileged" NC makes me sick....wonder just what life will be like after the November election for the caucasion who had to work hard for everything they've gotten in this life and, yet, aren't perfect blacks in our American society. Those who have been like sheep during this election may just be in for another enlightening experience (just like America got with Bush)....horse race just looks different this time.

110. Seems 'Christian' and 'hypocrite' go hand and hand these days. I used to like Natalie Cole. I can't stomach her anymore!

111. Brit's with children that she will return to their parents in a short while. If Brit had her own children she would have to have them 24/7.

112. Myself, being in recovery for many years now is just amazed by Amy. She has no consequences to her actions and recovery states "Anything you put in front of your sobriety, you will lose" - They should have NEVER allowed her to leave rehab to perform.... Amy needs to seriously work on her issues and do what she is told in order to have recovery and that doesn't seem to be what is happening. I really should not be making those statements because it's kinda like Judging her, but that is not my motive..I am simply stating what recovery has taught me. Being "allowed" out in that surrounding and performing is dangerous in her position. I absolutely wish her the best and I will include her in my prayers.

113. Natalie go sit down somewhere and shut up, you had your drug problems just like Amy and nobody couldn't tell you nothing, just like Amy, only thing is Amy didn't hide drugs in the kid's diaper cause she ain't got none, and you were a constant vistor to the hood with your child in tow, so don't throw no stones........BTW Amy is a good singer, hopefully she'll stop just like YOU did.....

Posted at 6:00PM on Feb 12th 2008 by don't throw no stones Natalie Cole

114. Im just thinking that instead of judging Amy on her performance at the Grammy's, people need to listen to her albums. Back to Black is out of this world musically and lyrically. She is an outstanding artist despite taking drugs and drinking. Her talent has nothing to do with her looks, what she wears, what she puts up her nose or down her throat. Go to YouTube and watch her sing "Valerie" - it will send shivers down your spine - Fantastic !

115. This is coming from the moth of a crackhead, heroin user, that even walked the streets, and sold her snatch to support her habit. Thats calling the kettle BLACK.

116. Amy won for her MUSIC. She wasn't rewarded for her drug addiction. NC was way off base on this one. It could also be a pivotal point in Amy's career. The boost and catalyst to get her focused and sober...not the other way around. Positive reinforcement needed here not bashing.

117. I thought that they gave out Grammys for making music not being some sort of role model.

118. I agree Natalie Cole's comments definitely seem like sour grapes - I remember her similar drug abuse situation years ago, when Nat's mother had to be appointed to look after her affairs...sounds familiar, no?

119. Whether or not you agree that receiving awards while she's in the middle of a drug problem are reinforcing her behavior or not shouldn't matter. The fact is, the awards are given for music, these aren't the "most well rounded person" awards.

120. Thank you, am, you made my point for me very well.

Jill,
I'm sorry, I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and I'd just had an argument with a tow-truck driver. I was much more insulting than I needed/should have been while attempting to make my point. Please forgive me. That wasn't psychotic (quite). I guess it was more like road rage. I was angry with you because I couldn't take out my anger on the person who had earned it. Next time I'll make a cup of tea before I sit down at the keyboard.

The point I was trying to make was that, although Britney should never be allowed to have control of children or a vehicle until she has clearly come to her senses and grown up, she was never in control of these children.

One part of bipolar is that they can be sweet and appear perfectly normal much of the time. Even Britney has lucid, normal moments. She should never have been left in sole control and one of her bodyguards should have been standing by to haul her out just in case she seemed about to lose it. It sounds that that is exactly what happened.
I don't like her choice in clothes either. It makes her look bad and ugly and she used to be a very pretty girl. But it is very similar to what many dancers wear while practicing, assuming she was wearing panties or spankies or something. The real problem I see with her clothing is that she wears the same clothes out when she is not dancing. That is not appropriate.

Again I ask, Jill, please forgive me for my insulting tirade. You didn't deserve that.

Go Sox
