TMZ overheard John Mayer outside Katsuya asking a friend to pick him up some Lotrimin for his brutal, "blotchy" rash.
His body is a wonderland ... of fungus! (Yeah, he's kidding ... we think.)

18. Please tell me that people who visit this site are not so ignorant that they can't tell John is joking. It's obvious he is mocking the paps and their interest in everything not interesting. John Mayer has it right...give them nothing but make them think they have something...who has the last laugh?? Keep it up John! Great to watch....

I agree. This entire FIRST! thing is just stupid and silly. Does anyone who is FIRST! get some sort of prize? Do they win a free trip to Hawaii? Do they get to be on some stupid reality show? What's the point of posting FIRST! ? I dont't get it.
And yes, if this is not a joke he is playing on the paparazzi, it then qualifies as much more information than I ever need to know about any celebrity.

27. Well I guess we should remember that he once dated Jennifer Love Hewitt and she dated half the men in Hollywood before she landed on her current fiance. Maybe he caught something a long time ago.
It's also pretty interesting to see how freely John Mayer speaks with the paparazzi. He once said that one of the reason he broke up with Hewitt was that he felt like he was in a 'fishbowl'. Something tells me he wasn't talking about the media but rather Hewitt, who was quoted by a former boyfriend as clingy. Either that or he was just looking for an excuse to break up with the lunatic.
