Commish to Brit's Lawyers: Protect or Serve

61. This lawyer thing is a little confusing....but I kind of get it. First of all, once a laywyer has represented a client in front of a judge they do not want any change in representation.because if things don't go the clients way...the client can then argue that they did not get proper representation due to the change and then will ask for a re-trial. I think in the beginning when the Lawyers from Trope asked to be released from representing Britney it was the family court judge who denied the request...probably due to so much publicity surrounding the case. Then when Britney went to the hospital...the lawyers realized it would be bad for their image if they dropped Britney...they would look heartless. I feel sorry for the lawyers....obviously they want out...Britney won't listen to them..but due to the publicity every little move they make will be scrutinized. Now that Jamie is in charge he can go ahead and just fire the lawyers...but then the Spear's would have to pay the bill. (probably pretty hefty by now!) The judge is worried about fingers being pointed at him on down the line if things don't work out...so he wants to keep the lawyers around for a scapegoat. That is my take on the matter.

64. Poor T & T! I don't often feel too bad for lawyers, but even they can't seem to get the stink of her off of them! And why should they be responsible for such a horrible client? It's not like this is something new! They've been trying to get out for a while and this is public knowledge, so why are they responsible for her continued care! It's the damn Spears camp that should be responsible for the mess they have gotten themselves in! I say let her twist in the wind and fend for themselves! I'm going to laugh if Wasser tells them to take a hike too! And I hope that Twit is allowed to fully control her freedom and finances again, so she can continue on being the Insane Village Idiot of the World! She's the World's Greatest Entertainer in that sense! Just keeps her kids at a safe distance as she flagellates around!

Brit is a selfish pig, & has been acting crazy fro many years,, I remember waaay back underage she was a chain smoker, then it got worse she dressed tacky for..someome with her $$$$$ ,no excuse,,then the drugs, then the quickie wedding in vegas, then k fed, then 2 kids in 2 years..etc....then all the other crazy stuff...she needs to get a grip..
like move out from LA,CAlif. to the "other La" & get back to basics, she is atrouble maker & causing all this nonsence

It's not like someone is holding a gun to anyone's head saying, "Read the lastest Britney posting or you're DEAD!" It's just like people who bitch about what they watch on TV or listen to on the radio. Those devices have selectable tuners for a reason.

I so agree. And Trope & Trope have no choice but to seek to withdraw as dad won't allow them to speak to their client. I'm glad at least one of the commissioners cares about a human beings right to legal representation in a matter that affects their own rights and freedoms.
And you're not wrong about them being egomaniacs...dad seems to think he's a qualified manager for Britney (why doesn't greedy pa hire a professional as her manager???...money, that's why) and is taking her out on a world tour....nutty stuff.

Dad is doing what a dad does. And they haven't done that bad a job - good pr moves, dancing, practice for her new vid, and the rest. It's like people attacking Jamie would rather see Britney back with Sam around.
And that world tour thing - Giving into chinese whispers?: if indeed that did come from the family it probably started as an off the cuff comment.... "Britney wants to eventually..........". Let's not eat up what pagesix have to offer on brit - they are the world's no 1 Brit-Bashers!
