Lets Get This Party Started
Britney Wants Ahnuld to Help Her?

Britney Spears wants to talk to the Governator about her "civil rights" -- but does she really need his help getting legal assistance?

TMZ reported earlier this week that Spears has enlisted disso-queen Laura Wasser to help her out, but Gatecrasher reports that her not-really-manager Sam Lutfi is trying to get through to Gov. Schwarzenegger to make her legal woes go away. "Britney says her civil rights have been violated and she wants to talk to Arnold about it," says a source.

Of course, keep in mind that it's Lutfi who is making the contact, and he's persona non grata in the Spears fray right now.

Heidi Cried All Night After Video Hatred

Heidi Montag found out the dark side of publicity whoredom, and it made her cry herself to sleep.

After reading the scathing slams of her "music video" for "Higher," Heidi tells Us that she "just started sobbing uncontrollably ... I just couldn't understand why people I didn't even know felt the need to be so cruel and hurtful toward me."

Good thing Heidi's got Spencer Pratt to buck her up: He says he held her and said, "This is just part of being an artist. If it were easy, everyone would be a pop star." That's the most brilliant thing he's ever said.

Party Favors: Miley and Dad Apologize for Belt Boo-boo ... Rihanna Celebrates at Les Deux ... Robbie Williams Nonplussed About Neighbor Paris

Miley Cyrus and daddy Billy Ray are apologizing for not buckling their seat belts in the "Hannah Montana" concert movie while riding in an SUV. "We got caught up in the moment of filming," says B.R. to People. ... Rihanna celebrated her 20th birthday at Les Deux Tuesday night with Kanye West, Wilmer Valderrama and rumored boytoy Chris Brown, who sang to the Umbrella songstress. ... Robbie Williams recently discovered that Paris Hilton has a new house five doors down from him, and he's not very happy about it, says the Sun. "I think it's safe to say Robbie will not be popping round to her house for a cup of tea."

31. Neil and Gadget: You are both confusing, you seem to be contradicting yourselves. Obviously she was declared menatally unfit and/or unable to manage her life. We are not privy to the reason there is a temp conserv, so no, her civil rights have not been violated.

34. Heidi cried, I would too if I put out such a trashy video, butchered my body and thought I had an ounce of talent at all. Why doesn't she just go away, her 15 minutes of "fame" are long over. I've never in my life seen such a "self promoter" with less talent. She claims people don't know her but what they do see of her and hear of her, they don't like. Boo Hoo!

35. I would rather see her under a conservatorship and alive than be hanging offa cliff and dead from the influence of Sam Lutfi.

36. I would rather see her alive and under a conservatorship than dead hanging off of a cliff under the influence of Sam Lufti.

37. Poster 9:41, from the Tool album called Aenema, Title song. How well does that fit! Sorry it's dirty to some, but it still seems appropriate. I hope it stays up for a while!

38. In total agreement with lock up sam, the law is designed to protect people who have been declared unfit to manage their own affairs. It's not something that's done lightly. Furthermore, should we let all these people *iss away their money and become wards of the state. Sounds like a good idea, as long as their civil rights aren't violated right?

39. Lekili, I think she may have seen the attention Paris was getting and figured that if one no-talent, worthless bitch could get more than 15 min. so could she. Not happenin'

40. What Spencer Nobody and Heidi Nobody need to recognize is that being an artist requires more than just a declaration. One has to study and work hard at his or her craft. These idle yutes have little to offer besides their medically enhanced looks.

And didn't "The View"'s Elisabeth Hasselback also recently declare herself an artist?

What a joke.

Who are these people anyway?

41. "this is what the country is consumed with? some pimple face kid didnt wear her seatbelt in a god damn movie?"

#15, Since when does what's reported on TMZ.com, which is a gossip/entertainment blog, reflect the views of the entire country? If the story appeared on the front page of the Wall Street Journal or New York Times, maybe I'd worry...but, this is just a silly gossip site.

And, #14, I agree with you. Even though I think Brit is crazy and Sam is an ass who's out to user her and get her money, Britney is an adult and should be able to live her life as she chooses. Plus, her parents won't be able to "babysit" her forever. At some point, they're going to have to let her go. Unfortunately, seems many people in the general public think that a parent can still have control over an adult child, so there's always going to be pressure on them to "do something" whenever Brit behaves badly. But, really, there's very little they can do.

43. So if I sell my 200k house for 100k I must need a conservatorship also?

That would mean a lot of business people that make bad decisions would also need one.

Hmmm I guess Paris needs one real bad for even thinking she could come out ahead on a movie with her as the star?

44. Toolboy, I've seen much worse stay up permanently. I don't see why they'd take it down. It even fits with the item which is more than can be said for the political or commercial posts and some of them stay up also. It sometimes seems completely random what gets left up and what doesn't.

45. Did anybody read the Gatecrasher article on the Daily News? LMAO What a joke: "He wanted Schwarzenegger to call him, and he said he'd hand Britney the phone," laughs our ear-witness.

TMZ, please, we are sick of confirming our comments
