Brit's Dad Still Large and in Charge

The hearing is over and the Commissioner in Brit's conservatorship has extended Jamie Spears' turn as conservator until the next hearing on March 10.

Commish Reva Goetz's current orders are still in effect -- Brit's conservators still have the power to deal her financial issues.

The Commissioner has also ordered that Britney undergo what's called a 730 evaluation -- a study of a family for the purposes of child custody -- the results of which need to be turned in to her by the next hearing.

As for Sam Lutfi, we're told he's hiding out and still hasn't been served with the restraining order. One lawyer even said, "I believe he is intentionally avoiding service." Ya think? The next hearing on the restraining order was previously set for Feb. 22 -- and he must be served at least 48 hours before then. Perhaps they should hang at Area.

But at out Evil Robot labs, we have also programmed in a self destruct system which will make her lash out at her father, pissing him off one too many times, and sending him packing; thus restoring the previous self destruct mode!

24. Lutfi does not HAVE to be served within 48 hours of the hearing. He clearly has knowledge that the order exists, and that is good enough to demonstrate constructive knowledge/service of the order. Considering news of the restraining order is on every gossip and news website, Lutfi has a very, very weak argument that he "didnt know" about it. Basically, at the next hearing, it'll be easier to extend the order if Lutfi has received actual notice, but he has actual knowledge of the order so it shouldn't be too hard to get an extension granted.

You are correct. I know from real life. My ex-husband “avoided” service of a summon. The process server testified in court that he tried to serve it three times and could hear activity in my ex’s apartment. My attorney also showed proof that it was mailed to his last known address and mailed to his attorney of record.

56. Since Lutfi has experience with restraining orders I guess he's learned a few techniques on how to dodge process servers. I can't believe he's that hard to find though. Maybe they need to hook up with TMZ.

59. Sam is out of the picture. No leaks about Britney from the inside "source" that tm z quoted so often.

Adnan is a creep but Sam wanted him out of Britney's life because Sam could no longer control who was getting inside info about photo ops of Britney. Whatever agencies Sam is in cahoots with probably put the clamps down and threatened to stop the cash flow if they were no longer getting the first pics because Adnan was tipping off his agency to get the first pics. There goes Sam's meal ticket. If you listen carefully you can hear Sam crying because he now has no cash. On to the next victim he can hustle.
