20. What the crap does it matter. The boy had paralysis to one of his vocal cords and couldnt sing for a while. He totally deserves a shot. Bet you would crap if u woke up and ur voice was gone huh....Quit being stupid and get over it people!!! Hes just a kid.

It's for people who aren't or who have tried and are still not "the american dream".
The guy apparently had vocal paralyzation.. And he's back at it for another try!

27. This seems to be the thing with this year's American Idol.. with him, Kristy Lee Cook, and the Irish chick. But it's definitely not new.. take Malinda Doolittle from last year as an example of someone with a lot of experience. It's the internet rumor that Cook was brought in as the ringer this year.

30. He never had a record contract, get your facts straight, he won Jr. Starsearch, but that never gave him a record contract, that's why he was on Jenny Jones. AND there are two stupid chicks on AI now that BOTH had record contracts and flopped, yet they are there! David has a natural talent and can sing anyone his age under the table, get over it!
