Paris Has Too Many Bitches?!!

The Los Angeles Department of Animal Services paid a visit to the home of Paris Hilton today to investigate a complaint about her dogs.

Captain Bowers tells TMZ his department received a complaint from an animal rescue group, after Paris' appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday. On the show, Paris talked about having 17 dogs -- a huge no-no in the city of Los Angeles. A non-breeder is only allowed three dogs per address -- though in Hollywood, Paris is considered a notorious breeder!

Captain Bowers tells us he went to her home Tuesday, only to find it's under serious construction and nobody -- including pets -- is living there. So Captain Bowers left word with a maid and hasn't heard back.

We're told all of Paris' pets are not currently living with her -- they are with animal handlers.

It has been stated by a number of people that pets are treated as acquisitions by that part of the Hilton family. In view of the way Paris and siblings were raised to be "commodities," I suspect there is more truth than rumor to that statement.

137. It's not as if she treats them like pets, they're just accessories and novelties to her, one day she's carrying them around like they're her favorite thing in the world, the next she looses them. She's nothing but a stupid whore

Paris may not of been that responsible before, but they are her animals and i beleive that she loves them and to take them away is wrong , i have a lot of pets and I'd be devistated if they got tooken away from me. so i think that they should give Paris her animals back.There hers and only hers.

139. omg!!! I cant believe that!! Have you seen the way her animals are dressed? This is such a joke. If its Paris lets find away to make headlines!!! Get our names in the paper..... whatever. These dogs probably have weekly spa appointments. I bet their diets are better than most of ours!!!

141. Is it any shock Paris Hilton has more dogs than she ever should? The government could make a nice hunk of change selling those things off on ebay...and the dogs would probably have better lives than they ever will with her.

146. I think Paris probably takes great care of all the pups, however I'm extremely upset she doesn't have them spayed or neutered. Does she understand how many animals a year are euthanized in shelters all across the country!!!!!
