Lilo Goes Incognito -- at the Ivy?
If you're a celeb who doesn't want your picture taken, the best place to go for lunch would probably not be the famous pap hotbed, the Ivy.
BTW, you can eat indoors there.

84. #75 - You asked why LiLo shouldn't eat at The Ivy - but I think you sorta missed the point. She has every right to eat at the Ivy or anywhere else. But it is RIDICULOUS to go eat at the single most pap crazy eatery in all of LA, sittin outside and directly across from all the cameras, a restaurant that also happens to be on one of the most celeb and pap infested stretches of street in all of the city, and then fuss when your photo gets taken. Of course your pic is going to be taken!!! If you don't want to be photographed then don't go there - it's that simple. This is a huge city with thousands of places to eat lunch and the Ivy is the most paparazzi attended one of them all. To complain about getting your photo taken there is like complaining about getting your pic being taken at the Oscars...it's definitely going to happen.
I live in LA (not far from the Ivy) and yes. I believe that the paps have gotten way out of hand in terms of interefering with traffic and being far too dangerously pushy. That being said, I must defend the paps on one big account: It pisses me off when publicity whores like Britney or Lindsay or Paris get all huffy about having their photos taken but they go to places where they know they're going to be in the middle of a pap frenzy. These are often the same celebs who also get photographed without any underwear, wearing micro-mini skirts and climbing out of limos. If they truly didn't want to be photographed they'd avoid places like the Ivy and they'd also start wearing panties!!!

87. I agree she is one of the OLDEST looking 21 year olds I've ever seen. I look better at 46 than she does at 21. And if she didn't want her picture taken there were a couple things she could have done, #1 - eat INSIDE and #2 - sit in the seat the blonde was in with her back to the photogs. I guess those options were just too simple for her brain to process.

88. I hate to defend her but she has the right to eat anywhere she wishes without having her picture taken. Here's how the new pap laws should read:
No pics of minors, including celebs and their children, without parent's written permission.
No pics of anyone inside of any vehicle without their written permission.
No pics taken of anyone on any private property without written permission.
No pics of people entering or leaving any business, conducting any business including outdoor cafes.
Celebs should only have their pics taken if they are attending an event. When they are not working they deserve just as much privacy as the rest of us, the tabloids and TMZ would still have plenty to keep them busy. Freedom of the press is crucial in any democracy but paps are not journalists and they have abused their position to the point where they are going to be curtailed.
