Okay Deb, you abhor name calling, but you have referred to a 9-year old child as 'annoying', 'fake-sounding', 'having no talent', and accused her of 'inappropriate behavior' around animals...and all the while sounding as if you have zero sympathy for the death of her father. Are you for real? She's a little kid, for God's sake. Her age hasn't yet reached double digits, and yet you seem somewhat threatened by the message of her show, not to mention BARNEY THE DINOSAUR! Very adult.

278. Her father was obnoxious and very unsafe. Instead of going out there and working herself, the mother has decided it's easier to pimp out the kid. I personally find Bindi to be tragic. She apparently believes all the press and crap people tell her to keep her performing. It's tragic. She'll be a alcohol slut in no time. She's also scarey ugly.

She and her dad were working on her new tv show BEFORE he died!!!!!!!
He was there filming a scene for HER when he died.
The family wasn't sure if they should continue with the tv show or not. But everyone decided that it was what Steve would of wanted, so they and the tv network went on with it.
If any of the finger pointers took the time to a little research, you'd find this out. She's not cashing in on his status or being "pimped" out. She's continuing a project that she and her father began TOGETHER. This was in all the news at his death. Animal Planet ran long specials featuring interviews of Steve, his wife, friends, etc. during those first days. Her upcoming show was mentioned many times and Steve was so proud of it and of his daughter Bindy. He was to shoot different animal scenes with her or alone and put them in HER show for kids.
They wanted to have a tv show which exposed kids to animals they would probably never see up close. They wanted to share their love for these animals with the kids.
