Fugitives Run -- The Dog is BACK!

TMZ has learned that Duane "Dog" Chapman will be back in business and back on the air on A&E. Woof!

A network official confirms to TMZ that the show is going back into production, but they've not yet set a premiere date. As of now, they're gearing up -- big time -- in Hawaii and production will begin ASAP. Makeup artists and camera crews have been hired, and houses and cars have been rented, all for the return of the show.

A&E had suspended production on "Dog the Bounty Hunter" indefinitely after a recording surfaced featuring Chapman making racial slurs. Chapman immediately began a tour of forgiveness, working with CORE and other groups to promote racial equality. We're told network execs were "very pleased" with Dog's attempt to make amends and his reaching out to members of the African American community.

A&E isn't just making this decision out of the goodness of their hearts either. The show was insanely popular for the network, here and internationally -- airing in over 20 countries.

K-Fed to Brit - Take the Kiddies for a While

Sources tell TMZ Kevin Federline would like Britney to see her kids, even during the conservatorship. And, sources say the lawyers are in court right now trying to hash out an arrangement for visitation, but as of now they can't reach an agreement.

We're told K-Fed has no prob allowing the kids to visit Brit at her home, with one string attached -- that Brit's parents are present during the visits.

We hear K-Fed isn't worried that anything bad would happen to the kids -- his biggest concern is that Britney might drive with them. But Jamie would be there to put the kibosh on that.

Parent Crap -- click to launchSources also say K-Fed doesn't want custody 100% of the time -- it's just too much. He'd like Britney to share custody or at least visitation.

And we're hearing there's talk Britney could go to a private facility for treatment and K-Fed would have no problem allowing the kids to visit her there, just as they did when Brit was at Promises.

Stay tuned ...

16. I am so ecstatically happy that Dog is coming back on TV. I have missed the show immensely and have stood by his and his family this whole time. I do NOT believe that Dog is a racist. He was having what was supposed to be a private conversation with his son, and although I don't know the exact words he said, I don't condone them, but Dog has a big heart. He tries to help every fugitive he catches and you have to have heart to do that. Sometimes we say things we shouldn't say when we are mad and upset....but that doesn't make us a racist bigot. Dog, Beth, Tim, Leland, Duane Lee, god bless you all and can't wait to hear when you will be back on the air... My husband and I stopped every Tuesday night whatever we were doing to watch Dog. WE LOVE YOU ALL, and Bethie you too hon! God bless you all@

20. Remember, Paris's mother had a short lived show about her teaching manners to everyday young people. It looks to me like Paris should of sat in on some of those lessons! It just goes to show cash doesn't mean class. What happened to Paris going to be a better person and roll model for younger girls??? What happened to that Bible she was carrying around. Wonder why she can't get or keep a boyfriend?

21. I think you have a lousy show. Your photography is teriable. It's like a kid with a camera. It jerks all around. I guess that's to catchs all you jerks hosting the show. You act like you got some news. Who cares? I'm just glad I don't have to watch, and I don't.

23. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to whom ever made the decision to bring The Dog back. I like so many others have missed his show so bad. He is a good guy. If I had tobe hunted down by a bounty hunter, I sure would rather it be him and his posse than anyone else. I know he truely cares about people, good and bad alike. Say what you will about a mistake that he made, it does not alter the fact that he is a deeply soulful spiritual person and everyone deserves another chance. Welcome back Dog!!!

24. Everyone should write or email or call A&E to protest Dog the Bounty Hunter being allowed back on the air. This move by the network is a slap in the face to all people of color, and all races. How many more times must an entire race or ethnic group be publicly debased and humiliated by a "celebrity" (a la Don Imus, Michael Richards, Dog, etc.) before the powers that be realize that it's not enough to take a meeting with the Rev. Al Sharpton and write a check in order to be given free access to the public airwaves? This is OUTRAGEOUS conduct that should not continue to be rewarded.

Remember, WE THE PEOPLE own the public airwaves. We have the right to voice an opinion as to WHO and WHAT should be allowed on those airwaves.

I STRONGLY URGE EVERY RIGHT-THINKING NON-HATING PERSON TO CONTACT A&E, AS WELL AS ALL COMPANIES AND ADVERTISERS ON THE NETWORK, AND FILE A FORMAL WRITTEN PROTEST OR COMPLAINT TO THIS INSULT TO HUMANITY.

THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR WILL NOT CHANGE UNTIL WE AS ONE PEOPLE STAND UP AND DEMAND THAT OUR VOICES BE HEARD.

RATINGS ALONE SHOULD NOT DICTATE WHAT IS AIRED. GOOD TASTE, COMMON HUMAN DECENCY AND A RESPECT OF ALL PEOPLES SHOULD BE A PREREQUISITE TO THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING BROADCAST.

CALL, WRITE, OR EMAIL A&E IMMEDIATELY -- WE MAY STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO STOP THE MADNESS BEFORE IT GETS STARTED AGAIN, IF WE ACT NOW, EN MASSE.

LET BROADCASTERS AND ADVERTISERS WE ARE NOT SO EASILY AND CHEAPLY BOUGHT OFF. THE AMERICAN VIEWING PUBLIC HAS A VOICE, HAS AN OPINION AND HAS A BRAIN.

DOG IS A RACIST AND A HATER. HE DESERVES NO LESS THAN TO BE OUTCAST AND DEPRIVED OF THE PRIVILEGE OF SPEWING HATRED AND FEAR ON A PUBLIC PLATFORM.

A&E SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF ITS DECISION TO VALIDATE HATRED, PARTICULARLY DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

I HOPE YOU ARE ALL AS DISGUSTED BY THESE ACTIONS AS I AM

25. The dog portrail of Hawaii is unfare. Not every area he goes to is drug ridden or the gates to hell. The bad people that he arrest are the same people that his bail company allows back on the streets after Law Enforcement and the Courts placed them in jail. It has nothing to do about doing what is good for societry, it has everything to do with money and ego.

26. That's all we need for our kids to see that all you have to do is commit a serious crime and you get your own T.V. show. They should NEVER have given this CONVICT a show ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

27. I am gald the DOG is back. His son should not have did what he did to his dad. Sorry folks but I hear the blacks folks saying the same thing and I don't like the double standards we have now got in this country. If it wrong for whites to say it is wrong for blacks to say it period!!!!!!!!!!.
A person should not have his whole life ruin over a word.Expectally when it was a private conversation in the first place

28. SO GLAD YOUR COMING BACK DWAYNE, BETH AND THE WHOLE CHAPMAN CREW.!

29. The only way I will watch Dog's new show is if him and his loudmouth wife get hit by cars on their first episode.
Shame on A&E! Don't they make enough money by exploiting people’s drug additions and mental illness on Intervention?

Posted at 2:49PM on Feb 19th 2008 by Dman

30. of course that POS K-fed doesn't want full custody of those kids. he could care less about the kids - all he wants is the money.
