Lutfi Drug Probe -- Full Steam Ahead

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the LAPD investigation into Sam Lutfi allegedly drugging Britney Spears is well underway.

We're told the case has now been assigned to Robbery Homicide, primarily because of the sensitive nature of the allegations and the intense media interest in Britney Spears. Sources say investigators have interviewed several witnesses regarding the drugs in Brit's system at the time she was most recently committed.

We're told the investigation had been temporarily derailed because of the death of an LAPD SWAT officer, but it's now back on track.

One source says the investigation will probably be concluded in late March.

22. Come on folks where does it state that Lutfi is responsible for Britineys entire drug problem? No Where. Just because she has a substance abuse problem, doesn't automatically give Lutfi the green light to go ahead and load up her meds into her meals. The police are looking into very specific situations where he admitted to putting her meds in her food. When was he ever officially her medical care giver? Is he a licensed Nurse? Pharmacist? even Family member with authority to administer meds? If Britney was on specific prescriptions that she was taking, and she chose not to take them, he would have no right to decide that she would do it by tricking her into taking them. He was an employee, nothing more. By taking it unto himself to administer her prescriptions he was in fact, DRUGGING HER.

26. Good news. Maybe Sam isn't responsible for all her problems, butthings got much worse lately. Past incedents that are referred to here are now way as bad as some things that happened lately! IMO.

I don't think that there is any real explanation for it, other than she seams to like a lot of fresh cool air. Even her skimpy dresees in winter make me go Huh? I live in so cal, and trust me it is not warm enough to go around in a slip with no panties.
It doesn't make her nuts. Just slutty.
