Oh God! Tom Cruise's Ex Speaks!

Tom Cruise's first choice for Scientolobride, Sofia Vergara, gave new meaning to the word "irony" last night.


If you believe Andrew Morton's book, after Tom split with Penelope Cruz he was fixated on Vergara and wanted to marry her. But she was freaked out by his obsessive behavior and felt "she would be struck down by God and burn in hell if she joined [Scientology]."

So imagine our shock when she talked about "the eyes of God" to TMZ. God does a body good!

35. You know for someone who has gone out of his way to convince us that he is heterosexual....well why would anyone need to convince the world that they are "straight"? I don't know, I'm just saying me thinks the man doth protest too much. One thing is certain, he definitely insists on having a woman with him that he can control. He lost interest in Nicole when she finally started getting the recognition she deserved but in the end she is definitely better off without him.
