93. Did you know that the cost of illegal immigration far outways the cost of the war? I just read a very interesting report(not made up -I've mentioned before where I work) that breaks down dollar by dollar(billion by billion)how much it costs systems like medi-cal,etc and again, it FAR outways the war. Most of you beajouis libs can't even feel the cost affects of a depressed economy because of the war - ask your grandparents if they can say the same. The economy is slumping because A. stupid home loans(YOU knew you couldn't afford that house!) and because working people don't have enough of their own money left to spend - the burden of our social systems(including illegal immigration)is placed squarely on the backs of working individuals combined with the rising cost of living and wage bases not keeping pace - pay attention;stop blaming everything on one guy!

Debbie: President Bush has tried to keep the Reagan era intact but he has to fight tooth and nail for every issue he wants to put into place...Too many people and the media want to see Bush fail and so they do whatever to keep the hate going against him. If he had the support of ALL people, his plans like Reagans would make this the greatest country in the World. He has fought hard for us and people have turned their backs to him and our country...I am better off than 10 years ago..Are you?

96. Mary...this is the best place I can say from having lived elsewhere where freedoms don't exist as they do here. I am grateful that we can blog and not fear repercussions from what we write. ALL Americans are patriots as we go thru each day with our families. Patriotism is not exclusive just to those who believe a certain way. There are heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as heroes here who walk the streets of America every day.

What I find saddening is how we are segregated as dems and repubs. That is the main cause of all the fighting amongst Americans. Who has the bigger penis , right ?
Who gives a flying rat ?? We should be united as one country , one group without any titles of democrats or republicans and work together to put the best person in office.

So he's raised the unemployment rate, started an illegal war, sunk the economy to an all time low, cut medicare, vetoed better health care for children, and then at the risk of the Medicare Program for our senior citizens, he's implemented a rebate program. Ooooh, so $600 is supposed to make us all forget how bad you've ruined this country?
