Gene Simmons to Sex Site: Suck My Copyright!

Gene Simmons' legal team has taken an ingenious first step in shutting down a website featuring a video that shows Gene in a sex act with a woman who is not his longtime girlfriend, Shannon Tweed.

We're told Gene's lawyers contacted Webmastercentral.com, which is responsible for the content on the website promoting the video -- ordering them to cease and desist because of copyright infringement. How, you ask, is this copyright infringement? Gene's lawyers claim the site had no right to use face paint to promote the skin flick, because face paint is a KISS thing.

And now we're being told, the tape is old and the copyright owner is ... drum roll ... Gene Simmons! Apparently, Gene got wind of the tape a few years back and bought the rights. Who's the apprentice now?

BTW, the tape was shot without Simmons' permission or knowledge -- and may well be illegal. That's why TMZ hasn't run it.

106. Doesn't Shannon Tweed have any self-respect? She sleep with that pig Simmons for 23 years, takes care of him, his kids, is his companion and yet she sits back as he runs around on her and constantly shoves that fact in her face - and in his kids' faces. It must be that she loves spending his money - which she does very well!!

Say what you want about the sex tape....but if your going to say that Genes a "has been" and has not had a hit in decades your wrong!....The KISS tour of 1996-1997 was the # 1 tour of the year....at present KISS is only behind the Beatles in the number of Gold albums....and just this week KISS has sold out Swedens Olympic Stadium in less than 20 minutes! thats 32,500 tickets ......So get the facts right you 9 to 5 losers before you speak. He never calims to have not paid them and the fact this girl wouldn't kiss him
